The official Intro for Fluoride Man is here! First, I want to thank @cok3tak3r, not only did this Hans Zimmer of underground music make the song but he's been an awesome collaborator with everything, big shoutout to them! I tried my best to depict them within the thumbnail; I used their self portait art to help display them in the way they may want to be portrayed as. (Cok3tak3r if you want me to change the thumbnail to include a more accurate, or different portrayal of you, Lemme know and it's done!) I tried my best to make the intro as Fluoride Manly as possible, but I know it isn't perfect. I mostly posted to see if anyone would gimme some feedback. I'd love to hear what y'all think and want to see in the final intro, I'm up to taking suggestions and would love to see what y'all may want to add! Overall, I can't wait to see y'all's reaction to eps 4 and 5 of Fluoride Man... which will come out soon! Welp gotta go, but hope ya have a fantastic day now, ya hear? Priorities: A Self Portrait

short animatuion of the song frankie teardroop by suicide

Ive been obbsessed with the band suicide for many years. and i really just wanted to animate there most infamous song Frankie Teardrop because of how disturbing it is. unfortunatley this will be a huge undertaking for me as im jumpuing into this alone. figured it would be a good way to learn toon boom, altho i still relyed heavily on procreate (not procreate dreams, just the reagular drawing app haha) my appologies for how short it is but ive been working on this every day for about a week now, and i have to give my back a little break lol i really hope you guys enjoy this chaotic crazy animation, and maybe discover a darker side to music made in the 70's just to piss people off lol and to think this project started with me trying to draw a derranged self portrait...

EDIT (11/17/2005): HOLY @#$%! Thanks for the FRONT PAGE!!!
---------------------- Yes, it really is a Self-Portrait of me, Joshua J. Morgan.
And NO, I am NOT contemplating or condoning suicide. I originally conceived Self-Portrait as a 15 second short during the Fall 2002 (my first quarter as a Grad student at UCLA), but I decided to make a different 15 second film. I returned to the idea, however, when I wanted to make an intro for my website, joshuajmorgan.com. After teaching myself Flash, the film was completed in the Spring 2004, and it went on to win a "Spotlight Award" the following year. I recently rediscovered NewGrounds.com and I'm so glad I finally decided to submit Self-Portrait because it's fascinating to see how polarized people's reactions are. I never intended it to be funny so I'm still surprised that some people find it humorous (it's always gotten a big laugh at all the festivals it's screened in). ---
Joshua J. Morgan received his BA in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and is currently working towards his MFA at the UCLA Animation Workshop, where he has been able to pass off his obsession for Japanese Anime as "research." Though many of his animations feature firearms, Josh is hardly a "gun nut." In fact, he has a strong phobia of guns, which was triggered by being held up at gunpoint in two separate armed robberies. Those life-threatening experiences also gave him a profound appreciation for living and so Josh has no intentions of actually performing the suicidal act depicted in his animated Self-Portrait. Seriously, his family and friends can all stop worrying... Josh really is happy :-) joshuajmorgan.com
