Patchy Fog - Blind Date

Lumine's curiosity had some unintended consequences...

After 14 months of production, and countless hours of work... I can now say, with full confidence, that the First Chapter of the A Night in Teyvat series is finally, and truly done!!! And now... First and foremost!.. I would like to give a SUUUPER THANKS to all the Chads that supported me on patreon and fanbox this past year. None of this would even be possible without your support! I'd also like to thank miss Nyono and miss Noodles for giving life to my Sucrose and Lumine. I really couldn't have been luckier to have found such perfect fit for the roles :3... As well as miss Pixie for helping me out with some design choices and agreeing to cameo a certain purple mommy mage XD... I do hope I can work with all of you again in the future :3 And Ik you're prolly sick of me saying this atp XD, but I'm reeeally grateful to all of you :3 I also learned a whole bunch from this project... Especially in the audio side of things! Figuring out how to blend all of the different voices, SFX, and BGM into one, and making them feel as natural as possible was defo a huge challenge! Thankfully, I never ran short of helpful feedbacks from the Chads and my VA's. And so I was eventually able to cobble up all of it into something that is hopefully worthy of the VA's performance... Aaaaand the countless YouTube tutorials didn't hurt either XD It also gave me a whole new perspective in animation! Being on the driver seat and directing the actresses, figuring out the best ways to convey my vision (mostly through trial and error XD), all while dealing with unforeseen set backs that naturally comes with collaborating with other people, REEEALLY gave me more of a respect to creators like Nyl, Derpixon, Studio FOW, Zone Sama, and many other creators, directing far more complex workflows, and collaborating many more artists and actresses, to make their creations a reality... I can only imagine the headache they had to go through XD Especially when you think of how easier and more accessible it has been to make these kinds of animation throughout the years. I mean... many of the tools we have now, wasn't even available to them when they were starting out! We are standing on the shoulders of some very lewd giants indeed XD And hey! Maybe this work will inspire someone, somewhere to make more full-length animations with interesting stories just like this!.. And if and when that time comes, I'd be more than happy to be stepped on my shoulders as well XD So... What's next? You ask? Liyue! Now that I'm done with the Mondstadt chapter of the A Night in Teyvat Series, I'll now focus my attention on remaking A Night in Liyue - Prank Gone Wrong into a full-length animation like this one!.. eventually XD I also made some pretty significant upgrades to my character models recently that I like to call Gen 2 Models!.. And I made a short 7 min. animation of Gen 2 Sucrose and Lumine to test them out... Which, once dubbed, will be posted here as well!.. eventually XD For now, I'd like to distance myself from any heavy audio editing stuff, and just focus on animating PGW and completing Gen 2 Hu Tao and Xiangling, as I've been doing audio stuff for more than a month straight now, and I miss animating T-T And that's about it! Hope you like it and thanks for watching! PS: 2025 Pink Sama here! Did some slight improvements to this one, improving color grading and also some audio re-balancing :3-----------------------------------------------------------------Sucrose VA: @Nyono8008_Lumine VA: @invadernoodlesLisa VA: @_PixieWillow

Thanks to everyone who voted and enjoyed my movie. This really means a lot to me. This is what happens when you play too many videogames kids... bad things happen. I started working on this animation for about a year ago,
but due to college work, procrastination, Team Fortress 2, and sheer laziness I have only just managed to get it finished. But I have to say I am pretty damn pleased with the result. The tune used in the psychedelic part of the animation was created by me, and you can download it from my audio submissions if you wish.

hope you all enjoy my latest short. it's unlike all my previous animation but i think it turned out pretty swell. check out "baby bird visits radio shack." it's an example of my ordinary style of animation and character design. A 4-minute preview sequence from an upcoming animated series, "Fallen Angel"

UPDATE 1/11/12 The first details have finally been announced about the upcoming second and third episodes of the Fallen Angel series. The information can be found at my new blog (URL below). You can expect some big changes to come to the FASeries site in the upcoming weeks as more info about the new episodes is revealed. rclrobertson.blogspot.com
--- UPDATE: 11/14/08 A new version has been uploaded with improved sound quality and a few other minor changes. ---
UPDATE (9/14/04) Thanks for the great feedback, everyone! There are a few issues that many people have brought up in their reviews, and I'd like to address some of them here. 1) A lot of people are downplaying the movie because of its "Teaser" nature. However, I should explain that when I started work on this animation, I actually intended for it to be the first episode of the Fallen Angel series. But by the time I finished it, I had decided that I could do much better, and since this animation consisted entirely of action and didn't reveal anything about the plot, I decided to go ahead and release it as a sample to keep everyone entertained while I work on the real first episode. So while it is technically just a teaser, try to think of it as more of a sample episode, or something. 2) A lot of people have been worrying that since the teaser is 6.5MB in size, the actual episodes will be so ridiculously large that they will never be allowed on NG. No need to worry about this; the large filesize is due to the fact that I originally built this to be an actual episode, not just a short teaser. All other Flash-based episodes that I release will be made to fit within NG's size guidelines, so they will all be comparable to the size of the Teaser episode. And besides, if any of the episodes are too large to be submitted as one piece, I can always split them up into seperate parts like I did with The Hunt. 3) There has also been some confusion in regards to all the people listed as Production Assistants in the movie credits. Just to clarify, I was actually the one who did all the animation/graphics stuff, and the people listed in the credits contributed by giving me generous assistance and helpful feedback whenever I needed it. They also contributed many of the ideas that came together to form the Fallen Angel storyline, and offered assistance on some other technical things, such as sound mixing. But as far as actual construction of the movie goes, I did most of the dirty work.

Fallen Angel: Teaser

Oh No! It's another Star wars battle sequence!

Yes! This is a spoof of the final fighting sequence of Episode 2. I changed a few things here and there to make it more entertaining... and yes, those are Eskimo Bob type people (Floating hands, oversized heads). They're easier to animate without the arms getting in the way... (Anyone who uses Flash 5 or MX knows what I mean...). Hey, remember, imitation is the highest form of praise...
Voices were created using the Cool Speech Text-to-Speech program. Watch out for the Obi Wan voice, it's really hard to hear for some reason... but that's why we have captions! The music is a Techno Remix of Duel of Fates by some guy named DJ Middleground. I cut it up here and there, so it'll sound funky every so often.
Note: the sounds are in now. All of them.
Well, enjoy the finished product... and tell me what you think by reviewing the movie. *Waves hand* Constructive criticism is good...
Fixed the Preloader, didn't realize that it wasn't working and no one complained about it until now... My bad!
Made some changes and I cut the file size in half... still haven't figured out why I can't get it any smaller... oh well...
Love and Peas!
Placed #20 on the third week of May 2002... first top 20 movie... coo'.
