Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: <a href="https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7</a> We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: <a href="https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/">https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: <a href="https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/</a> We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: <a href="https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/">https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:<ul><li>Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.</li></ul> Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: <a href="https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial</a> NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Conquer The Foe

Hi guys! This is my first post at NewGrounds, and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing XD. I usually post in instagram with the user name MothWings.the, but desided to make a NewGrounds account as well just for the hell of it. Naah but actually, I wanted to start posting here because I hate main stream social media, and I'd rather post somewhere not so sucky yucky. Also about this animation. All the models you see in this animation, are made by me, as well as the animation, sound effects and even music too. I made this back in july simply just to spend some time. That was back when I just got employed as an Animator and 3D Artist for a game studio and I was super exited. Before that, I was supposedly applying to a university of applied sciences to study game development some more, but I ended up rejecting the idea, for you don't really need university level studies to be a damn indie game dev, so I just started looking for a job instead :DDDD Expect more of these types of animations from me in the future!

sorry for the radio silence this past month, life gets in the way of things, but i should start to pick up more steam now. for the past month or so I've been figuring out how to do animation that isn't Gmod. the end result of about a month of on and off work trying to figure out how to use Adobe Animate was this! I'm very aware this is probably the most janky thing I've put on this site, but all hobbies need to be learned before they are talents. this project took forever! no doubt the more knowledge I take in I will get better at my craft. leave your honest opinion about this if you can and tell me what i can improve on. thank you :)

🟢 "Animation." The early morning sun glistened over the ruined coastline, casting golden light across the broken remnants of a once-thriving boardwalk. Now, it was a peaceful training ground. Sawsan Vix, a sleek, mute mutant fox girl, stretched on the sand with perfect precision. Her sporty, skin-tight workout gear clung to her fur, designed for flexibility and speed. Each movement was fluid—controlled kicks, deep lunges, and sharp flips that kicked up clouds of sand. Strapped to her waist was a patched-up cassette player, humming with life. “Take on meee… take me onnn…” The warm fuzz of 80s synth filled her ears through oversized headphones—one of the few gifts she ever received, and from someone who somehow always made her tail flick: Baskal, the gruff, scarred human bounty hunter. He found the tape in a forgotten music store buried beneath rubble and dust, wrapped it with some wire, and gave it to her without much ceremony. She'd smiled—not that he saw. Now, every beat made her bounce a little more as she jogged along the shore. She stopped, posed like she was in a cheesy dance workout video, and struck a thumbs-up toward the ruins behind her, just in case Baskal was watching from the cliffs. Her sharp eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. No words. Just music, motion, and the sound of waves. In the silence of a broken world, Sawsan Vix made her own rhythm. 🌟 Check out my active sites: <a href="https://beacons.ai/nafyo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://beacons.ai/nafyo</a>

ANIMATION: SUMMER DANCE VIBE

The clock counts down your freedom... Listen to 'Timber Heart Silence' & step

<blockquote>"They existed before humans learned to name the darkness. And they waited—patient, silent, immortal—until you stepped through the door." 🕯️</blockquote> You arrived in Mina drömmars stad, the City of Dreams, with nothing but a single, battered bag carrying eighteen years of loneliness from one orphanage to another. You walked past the frozen cobblestone streets, beneath the fading orange-tiled roofs weathered by sea salt and heavy moss, looking for a place to disappear. And then, Mrs. Ann found you. She brought you here, into this hallway of muted emerald walls and the faint, deceptive comfort of dried chamomile and simmering tea. Under the warm, golden glow of the chandelier, the madness of the world outside seems to fade away. Here, you allow yourself to believe you are safe. You allow yourself to warm your bleeding fingers by the hearth and pretend that you are not running from a fate too monstrous to comprehend. But do not let the quiet fool you. Listen closely to 'Timber Heart Silence'. Beneath the comforting melody lies a suffocating stillness. The grandfather clock in the corner doesn't just count the hours—it counts the remaining heartbeats of your freedom. Every heavy tick is a warning. Every shadow stretching along the staircase is a reminder that the safety of this house is nothing but borrowed time. Outside, the chilling fog is creeping under the floorboards, and the velvet snare of the Matchmaker's shop is already tightening around your soul. You were not chosen because you are strong. You were chosen because you are the only one who can look into the eyes of the entity waiting in the dark, and not bow your head. The hearth is fading. The clock is ticking. Will you find a true home within these walls, or will you let the shadows rewrite your mind? The playable Demo of Wandering Relics is officially live. Your hands clamped over her thighs, pulling her closer until your bodies were pressed in that perfect, unholy angle. She gasped, a raw breath. “Harder,” she hissed, voice low, eyes blazing. Your pulse thumped in sync with hers, each beat echoing in the tightness between you. The heat from her body pressed against yours, sweat slicking skin as she pushed forward, hips rocking like a storm. You felt the softness of her thighs scrape yours and she smirks, a fierce expression that sent shivers down your spine. She shoved her weight into you, demanding more. “You like it?” she breathed, voice trembling with desire. The world narrowed to the rhythm of breathing, mattress creaks, and bodies colliding. Her fingers dug into you, anchoring you while she moved faster, a jagged dance of pleasure and pain. Each thrust sent her moans up from her lips, raw, unfiltered, “Oh god… yes!” She kissed hard on the mouth, teeth grazing skin as she pulled herself closer. The heat between you was relentless, an electric charge that made your clothes cling to your body. When it finally ended, she lay sprawled beside you, breathing raggedly, chest heaving like a drumbeat. A wet sound echoed as she clamped her fingers around your collarbone, the pressure leaving a faint line. “We’re finished,” she whispered, voice husky with exhaustion and satisfaction. The silence that followed was thick, filled only by the sound of two hearts still racing from the storm you’d just weathered.

I have tried everything within my power to slay this beast of nightmares, but as we draw closer and closer towards the eleventh hour,I must finally acknowledge its place as the true king of this accursed land.I know now that there is only one plan I can enact that has any chance of producing an acceptable outcome. If I do return from what I am about to do,it will not be for a very, very long time. This unfortunately means that,if someone is reading this, they have most certainly been left to fend for themselves alone in the dark…along with the rest of my beloved people. To whoever is reading this,I implore you to inherit my duty to The Void and keep your fellow man safe from the terrors of the night–” <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621161_19930432.png" alt="iu_1621161_19930432.png" data-smart-scale="764,573">In The Void there exists a man,he has no past,no future and barely anything that resembles a present. The people of The Void begin to dub this strange man “The Warrenless”. If you asked him, The Warrenless would probably tell you that he considers himself a pilgrim of The Void. He tells himself and those who cross his path that his travels are in search of something important; an escape from The Void,or a safe haven from its madness,or perhaps even a one true love. He of course realises to some degree that these goals are nothing more than hopeful half-truths, for The Warrenless has no true goal in mind, he wanders The Void aimlessly in hopes that someone can finally provide him with a purpose,a wonderful purpose, one that can finally outclass the one given to him long ago by that…thing. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621162_19930432.png" alt="iu_1621162_19930432.png" data-smart-scale="764,573">In The Void there exists a woman, from a very young age she has been well acquainted with her true purpose in all this. The employers that watch her every move, whose visages resemble that of cats, have taken to calling her “The Inheritor”. She hates this name, hates it with every fiber of her being. In spite of this fact, she still uses it, mostly because her employers refuse to acknowledge her as anything else but also because, as time goes on, she seems to find her true name slipping further and further away from her memories. The Inheritor is now standing directly in front of The Warrenless. She was warned countless times by her employers not to do this. That this was one accursed beast not worth adding to her little caravan of creatures. Unfortunately these warnings mean nothing to her at the moment…<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621191_19930432.png" alt="iu_1621191_19930432.png" data-smart-scale="764,573">…for the impending disaster she has been trying to avoid is proving itself to be the kind of problem only an accursed beast can solve. As The Inheritor looked up at The Warrenless, she waited for either a formal response or complete annihilation. After what must have felt like an eternity of silence, The Warrenless finally asked her a question…“So…what’s your favorite color?”

Domina bent over on top of the mahogany table, her heart a frantic bird trapped in her ribs as she listened for the heavy click of the night guard’s boots on the marble outside. The moonlight cut through the floor-to-ceiling windows, turning the silver candelabras into jagged blades of light. She was trespassing in the one place she shouldn't be, and the sheer, terrifying weight of being caught was a live wire hum beneath her skin. She leaned forward, her palms flat against the polished wood, feeling the cold bite of the mahogany as he moved behind her like a shadow come to life. Her pussy was throbbing and she couldn't wait. A soft, broken moan—“Hnngh”—escaped her as her fingers curled around the edge of the table, her knuckles turning white. She wasn’t just fighting the heat coiling in her gut; she was fighting the urge to scream in a house that demanded total, elegant silence, her senses sharpening until she could feel every frantic pulse in her own throat. Every low, gutteral sound he made was a match struck in a dark room, igniting the tension until the risk of discovery felt less like a threat and more like a drug. She turned her head, eyes fluttering shut as the sheer scale of the sensation dismantled her composure, her breath hitching in ragged, shallow gasps. "Someone's going to hear," she whispered, a desperate, shaky sound that was immediately swallowed by his dark, vibrating laugh against her neck. She surrendered then, arching into the heavy, unrelenting rhythm, the fear of the consequences finally drowned out by the absolute, honeyed heat of the moment.

She’d been careless, touching herself whilst lost in the quiet, in the thrill of secrecy when the presence behind her shifts the air. Before she can straighten up, she’s bent over forward on top of the books, posture exposing her soaked pussy. His thick cock enters her. "hngg" she tries not to make a sound. Every sound feels louder than it should, the hum of lights, a book settling back into place, her own breath catching as she’s held there and reminded why rules exist. She should feel embarrassed. She should feel afraid. Instead, the heat in her pussy pulses with the knowledge that she’s been caught because she gave in. As the last light fades and the library slips toward night, Psylocke stays perfectly still, accepting the consequence of her distraction. Thrill and desire blur in the silence, and she learns the same lesson again: some places aren’t meant for indulgence, unless you’re ready to be punished for it.

POV: The Silencer Attack(GONE WRONG)(SILLY)

The Russian Bat ExperimentDuring the Cold War, Soviet scientists in Magadan began experiments weaponizing nature itself. They wanted to spread deadly viruses over enemy borders using small animals as carriers. The laboratory-made viruses were so potent that they killed most animals instantly, which presented a logical challenge for the scientists... to find a vector that could survive the virus when humans could not. They decided to try vampire bats. These were ideal creatures because they were accustomed to feasting on the blood of diseased and dead animals and had natural immunity to some of the manufactured viruses’ deadliest features.Unfortunately, these tropical bats could not survive the brutal Russian winter, even in a controlled environment. The project stalled until they could breed a new type of resilient vampire bat. One with thick fur, a robust constitution, and an increased blood storage capacity. Augmented by Pleistocene gene splicing and radiation exposure, the scientists produced twelve abnormally large vampire bats suitable for the toughest climates. Despite their size and density, when they were injected with the deadly virus these genetic monsters withered and died. All except one. A very special bat. This test subject was much larger than the others. Perhaps that is why he could endure the deadly chemicals injected into his veins. His oily wings were heavy and the thick leather membrane squeaked when he splayed his clawed fingers. His belly was swollen and he breathed in long, loud gasps. Most horrifying of all and unlike any bat every recorded, this creature could speak. He called himself HUGO.The scientists, terrified yet driven by the overmastering spell of discovery, attempted to train Hugo. They spoke to him and taught him the rudiments of reading and writing. In time, he could carry a conversation with his “hosts” as he called them. When he performed his tasks well he was rewarded with blood that was drawn from political prisoners in the Gulag and stored in huge vats. Hugo drank, and drank, and drank. The more blood he took in, the more he needed. He demanded more and refused to cooperate with the training regimen. Eventually he reversed the scientists’ role. Instead of rewarding him with blood when he performed to their expectations, he had trained them to provide blood in exchange for compliance. When he was interrogated by intelligence officials about his creators Hugo laughed, and in a guttural voice, sticky and wet, he called the researchers “little meat packets.”Once, when looking at a picture of the night sky, Hugo spoke his true mind. He wanted to be set free from the laboratory so he might “taste all the kinds of blood in the world.” “Let me fly,” he Demanded in tone that hinted of mockery and threat. “You keep me here. You deprive me. You starve me.”The overseers of the project had condemned the project long before. The plans to disperse viruses through animal vectors was deemed unreasonably dangerous. They had only allowed Hugo to exist thus far out of sheer, horrified curiosity. Despite the scientific opportunities such a creature presented, authorities commanded Hugo’s termination. An execution squad armed with rifles marched into the laboratory with orders to arrest the scientists and destroy all evidence of their abominable work. But they were too late. The entire research staff was dead. They lay curled in contorted positions, drained, shrink wrapped in their own pallid skin and collapsing inward like emptied sacks. Hugo had vanished, but before he left he had scrawled with the tip of his claw on the outside of the facility... “Fresh blood tastes best.”Reports arrived two days later from the nearest Gulag. All of the prisoners and guards were reduced to leathery husks. Not a single drop of blood remained in their veins. Victims were found all along the so-called “Road of Bones”, the path Hugo had taken on his way into the heartland of Russia. Then, suddenly, in the deep cold of winter, the killings stopped. The rampage ended.Few records survived the purges, but one NKVD memo marked “Not for Distribution” declared the “Experiment was Contained.” Decades passed in relative silence. Rumors were squashed with ridicule. Families of the decedents were paid off or threatened into silence. “Hugo” became a boogeyman to frighten unruly children. That was, until two years ago when a derelict fishing trawler was found on Turkey’s Black Sea coast. Inside, every crewman was dead. Pale, their veins collapsed, drained of blood. Their skeletons were wrapped in dry skin, twisted into positions of eternal agony. Only one piece of evidence hinted at the cause. Scratched into the rusted iron hull of the ship were the words:“Hugo is Famished”.......................... Spread this creepypasta far and wide! The battle was over, but Psylocke had one last move to make. She pressed her hands into the sheets, arching her back as Spider-Man gripped her hips with unyielding strength. "Ahh… hah…" her moans broke through the silence, melting into sharp gasps with every deep thrust that rocked her forward. His rhythm was merciless, a perfect blend of power and precision, each motion hitting her where she needed it most. Plap… plap… plap. The sound of skin meeting skin filled the room, mixing with her trembling cries of pleasure. She bit her lip, body quivering as the heat between them built and built, until there was no thought of victory—only the pounding need and the masked man driving her wild from behind.
