An art collab to commemorate Skylanders' 15th anniversary!

Happy 15th anniversary to the Skylanders series! At first, I thought that this collab would flop since I went without a single submission for a bit. Thankfully I was wrong since I ended up with 21 submissions with one of them being from Blackrhinoranger (an OG in the Skylanders fanbase, words cannot describe how happy I was when I saw his submission). Thank you to everyone who's worked on the franchise and thank you to everyone who submitted art for the collab.

This is an updated version of one of my earlier animations. The early version didn’t have shadows, which made the scene feel flat. In this version, I added proper shadows and adjusted the lighting to give the animation more depth and a stronger mood.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------i hope you guys like this animation and if you like my work. 👉 Follow me on Twitter: https://x.com/Fluffsterr1 👉 Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fluffsterr1

Silent Arrival Ep.2 Escape (Part 1)

a animation that i did to show the feeling that oldschool 00's survival horrors game me.

A Shiny Minecraft tale

The last in my cat shorts for a while, I'll be updating Swingers mostly. This was inspired by the lengths my cats would go to chase a laser pointer. It was originally just going be my cat angel (the big white one) but the concept grew. by the bye the character main's a girl everyone, I understand the confusion though. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR PETS.... I hate that I have to say it but you cannot apply cartoon logic to the real world. youtube version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru6GS_BizYs

This is our entry for the Newgrounds Halloween contest 2011. It was such a huge project, which turned out to be a 4 minutes movie. We had been working on it since Madness Day ended, so yeah, estimate the time and the effort :). Be patient and let it load, it may take some minutes. Check out the movie, we just don't want to spoil it. Enjoy! Happy Halloween 2011!
Presented by JOYCOT Team.

SWEET GRIM

Pinkie Pie invites Rainbow Dash to make cupcakes

This was at first a chore, but the more I made, the more I liked it. It's an odd trend that my toons tend to start weak and end strong. There a few bugs and hiccups here and there. I couldn't be arsed to fix them. I just fixed the major problems I saw. If anyone knows how I can export a more higher quality video for youtube, I'd love to hear it, PM me please. Feel free to recommend this for the 2011 Halloween collection. My little pony is copyright to Hasbro and this video is intended to be a non-profit fan based parody. UPDATE: To those of you voting this submission low simply because it kills off Rainbow Dash: Grow the fuck up. It's a non-canon parody of a fan fiction about fictional characters that don't exist (redundancy much?). You were warned twice! Verbally and in writing. Focus on the work and how well it portrays the fan fiction and NOT on how I killed off Rainbow Dash. For fucks sake, kids... Update2: I haven't a clue as to why there's a "2011 Movie of the Year Award" underneath the underdog of the week. Any explainations?

My Little Pony: Cupcakes

Update: December 1, 2020Greetings! I touched up some sound effects just a bit and re-exported it into a video file. ----This was originally meant to come out in a collab that never happened. Then it was meant to come out in a 2 man collab with Psychojester that never happened. It's been sorta sitting on my computer and I guess I just kinda felt like submitting it just for the hell of it. Hey, it's Madness Day after all. So yeah just a short little movie I made, don't expect much. Have a good MD2011, scallywags.

Anime fight!

Sometimes you're perfect just the way you are. Dave Bruno's TOFA 2011 Final Round Entry!

EDIT: I have won the Tournament of Flash Animators here on Newgrounds thanks to this piece! Thanks everyone who liked it, I'm happy to warm all of your hearts :) WARNING! This Movie is very graphically intense! If you have an older computer, please click the link on the Preloader to be directed to a Youtube Version of the movie that should run better on your computer. If the links don't work just by clicking them, RIGHT CLICK them and select "Open in a New Window". This is my entry for the 2011 Tournament of Flash Animators (TOFA) Final Round. We had 4 weeks to animate to the theme "A Clean Slate". I want to give a BIG shout out to my music man, Allen Cruz thanks for the great soundtrack! This was a really satisfying and fun animation to make! I can confidently say that I am proud of the work I created here and wholly plan on using alot of it in my latest Demo Reel, which is one of the main reasons I joined TOFA this year anyway. Looking back on all the rounds prior to this, I can honestly say my skills have vastly improved at Flash. Compare "Totaled", last year's Final Round entry, to this one and you'll see a definite increase in my skill, and this is something that, even if I don't win TOFA, I can deem as a win. The characters were extremely fun to work with, them being simple blob characters that do these crazy actions. If you didn't catch it, the "clean slate" was the characters themselves, starting off extremely simple and then adding all these crazy things, until finally going back to a clean slate again. I'm glad I was able to figure out how to do the reflections, as I feel they are a big part of the message. He is not looking at himself, but the images beyond the reflections (like the Advertisements and such.) and he's not realizing what a mess he is making of himself, being too focused on making himself what the media deems "attractive" (until it obviously spirals out of control to the point of hilarity.) The main motivation and reference for this piece is thanks to my girlfriend. The girl (Blobette as I like to call her.) resembles her (as much as a blob can) and acts just like her. Her ability to make me feel great about myself when I'm feeling down is truly astounding. For this I thank you babe :). But this isn't just for her, its for anyone who has that special someone that, no matter what has you down, they have that special and amazing power to make you feel great again. All in all, TOFA has been very rewarding this year (and even more so if I actually win it!) and I hope this latest entry made you giggle and saw "Awwww". This has been Dave Bruno for the Newgrounds Tournament of Flash Animators 2011, I'll catch ya later.

The Shape of Love

Mike Southmoor finds a device that transforms himself into other cartoons

By now you're wondering, "Wow! What talent! Amazing! Sensational! This man should work for (Insert Animation Company Here)!" If you didn't, I not surprised. Because I'M the only one wondering that.
What you see before you is ME(yes, me), as a cartoon, chasing a remote that has the mind bending powers to make me transform into any character I want. I just wanted to see if I could animate several different art styles as a challenge. This was more for practice.
This is the short Newgrounds version of my video. I plan on releasing more footage and more character designs. That's where you come in: Below, post any character or art style you want me to transform into. I'll make a post on whether the style's been already placed in the movie or not. Send this to your friend and family! Spread the word and give me ideas. I want ideas from the fans! These will be used in the final version. Use your imagination, such as an art style from:
-TV Show
-Video Game
-Magazine
-Particular Artist
-Or you're own style...maybe... Characters used in this video belong to:
-The Brothers Chaps
-Butch Hardman
-Niko Anesti
-Matt Wilson
-Bryan Lee O'Mailley
-Disney
-Trey Parker and Matt Stone
-Gigi D' Agostino
-Nintendo

-Weebl Want the music? Here it is: https://8bc.org/members/S ievert/ Don't worry. If I don't respond to your review, it doesn't mean I didn't read and appreciate it. I've read them all...twice! Please enjoy and try not to hate me!
Mike Southmoor EDIT: Before you guys say this is the most unoriginal idea JUST because I'm drawing characters from TV shows/flash cartoons, I must point out that I incorporated some of MY designs into this so that it balances out. Travis and The Spritas Players present, a tribute to Mario's Castle Calamity!

Edit: Weekly 6th... Disappointing, but not bad. For those of you who are drooling for more, you are gonna get it. Be watching for Mario's Castle Collab 2!
----------------------
Wow what can I say. A tribute to Bigfoot3290 presented to you by some of Newgrounds finest, with major help from animators at The Spritas... An extreme amount of hard work went into making this. I loved everyone's contributions and even the people that didn't make it tried hard to put up their best work. I am extremely happy with the result of this collab because I believe it does the original Castle Calamity justice. When I first thought of this idea I could only think... why hasn't this been done yet? Now, after some hard work from some very talented authors I present to you the first ever "Mario's Castle Collab". There will also be a sequel coming soon. There is an easter egg hidden somewhere in the bios. Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks to the viewers. - Travis

A short film about a boy made of fire and a girl made of water--with lots of explosions.

Working with the animation students at Brigham Young University has been a real treat. After much blood, sweat, and tears, we have finally completed Alight. We spent countless hours animating Sparker, the "fire boy," and Aquanna the "water girl," to get the effects and character animation looking just right. To us, they're almost real-life characters by now. We hope you enjoy this unique little piece of Flash animation, mixed with After Effects compositing. For a higher-resolution version of the film, visit http://www.keyserhouse.com/alight.

DO NOT UPLOAD THIS TO YOUTUBE I will post a youtube version later on. After getting my tablet the other day I quickly chopped up this hunk of crap. Yea I know it's another "minecraft spoof" but hey, it was the first thing that came to mind when I opened up flash and started drawing. It was a bit tricky to tell a story with absolutely NO dialog. but still loads of fun to make.

I made this in two days for a film festival I found out about a week prior to the actual event. Sooo it was a bit rushed. But I made like 80% of the sprites and I like how It came out in such a sort time frame. It also had to be a minute to fit it in so its a bit short. *Update* Woah 3.70? Thanks a lot guys :D

Slush Invaders

The pink Power Ranger has to take down a trio of nasty Putty Patrollers!

This is part 1 of a 5 part series that i want to do which includes all 5 of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Was a huge fan of the show as a kid and always thought that it would make an EPIC cartoon, so i decided to take the task on myself. Up next is the Black Ranger! Hope all who watch, enjoy.
