A 3DMM project I made as an homage/parody of classic horror films

This was an old project that I did some time ago that also took me far longer to finish before that than it ever needed to take. It's nothing too complicated, I was fiddling around with 3D Movie Maker at the time, just trying to make some goofy little movies that I could use as an excuse to practice my music & get the general feel of animating. The music in this project was all made using the Korg DS-10 Synthesizer software for the Nintendo DS of all things (the tracks were transferred to my PC from a New 2DS XL via the headphone jack), but with a little bit of spicing up in Virtual DJ. The inter-title graphics were largely inspired by classic German Expressionist films of the silent era and the story was meant to feel tongue-in-cheek, like a cute little parody of old black & white mad scientist flicks: Absurd experiment that makes little sense goes horribly wrong and someone gets their ironic comeuppance. For the most part, as a way to challenge myself and to learn the ins & outs of 3DMM, I stuck with the stock assets & actors; the only mod I used was a green screen mod for some of the close-up shots. I have thought about returning to doing more 3DMM projects, but have struggled a lot with ideas and how many fan-made mods I'd want to use. I felt with this project at least, most of the originality would come from the music & intertitles, hopefully that's enough. For those interested, you can also check out the original upload over on YouTube. And you can also download/buy the EP of the music for this video, as well as my other original tunes (some of which I've also published here) over at my BandCamp. Last but not least, you can support me even further on Ko-Fi, and if you have ideas or requests for more 3DMM projects like this one, I'd love to hear them.

"Night of the Skeleton" -- (3DMM short film) --

This definitely very hostile Skeleton seems to want to steal candy from a baby

This skeleton "Ald" is a character I made a few years but I didn't "ACTUALLY" Animate him until now. He's just been stuck as personal doodles I make from time to time. Also no, He's not the evil skeleton in which his plans were foiled (Previous animation I made about 2 years ago). Turnaround 360° of my next 3D project, being this time Chooper from Star Wars.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, after having abandoned this project for almost a year, I am making progress on the 3D model of Chopper. The only thing left to do for the 3D model is the skeleton so I can make some animations and it can be used for animations, VRChat, games and so on. It will be on sale this May 4th, just in time for Star Wars day, and it will be on discount for a limited time because of its release and because it's May 4th, so don't miss the opportunity to get your own Chopper made by me. If I also have time, I will also be offering a totally free 3D model, which will be released along with Chopper. It will be an old but modified 3D model, or a new but simple one, whatever I can do having only two Sundays to get everything ready. By the way, here are the links to the reels I uploaded to Twitter and Instagram showing Chopper in a 360° Turnaround (soon I will upload it to more social networks and I will update the description to leave them here too): https://x.com/DanielBeltranS2/status/1914353336423530701https://www.instagram.com/reel/DItzmyvx0U7/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Well, that's all for now. Remember to visit my other social networks to see more of the content I upload (which, by the way, I might change my link grouper for a more stylized one): linktr.ee/DanielBeltranS2 I invite you to also visit the stores I have in some social networks and see what I have to offer. Also share the items that catch your attention in my stores so that more people know about what I'm selling, I will be grateful. Thank you very much for checking out this post, and I'll see you in the next post. Hasta la Bye-Bye.

This animation is inspired by episode 3, where Tomik's base is attacked by Hank, forcing them to retreat, only to return with a powerful weapon that grants Tomik’s victory. After a brief conversation, Indy hands over control of his computer to a scammer who pretends to fix

"Indiana Old and the Phishing Scam Struggle" is a short comedic Lego stop-action animation that follows the aging adventurer Indiana Jones and his son Mutt Williams as they deal with the consequences of falling victim to online phishing scams. The story takes place in the Shady Acres retirement home, where Indiana Jones, now in his mid-120s, spends his days tinkering on his computer and regretting his life choices. Mutt bursts into the room and informs Indy that his bank account has been cleaned out due to yet another phishing scam. Frustrated, Mutt reminds Indy that he can't keep falling for these types of schemes. Despite his son's warnings, Indy decides to respond to one more email that promises a spot in an expedition in exchange for his banking information. As he's about to enter his information, his computer displays a pop-up warning him that his files have been hacked and are being held for ransom. Desperate to retrieve his files, Indy ignores Mutt's warning and calls the number provided in the pop-up. After a brief conversation, Indy hands over control of his computer to a scammer who pretends to fix the issue but actually steals Indy's personal information. Mutt tries to convince Indy that he's been scammed again, but it's too late. Indy's personal information has been stolen, and he's devastated. The animation ends with Mutt reminding Indy that the dangers of their enemies have evolved from ancient tombs to online scams. However, Indy has already died from the stress of being scammed again. The scene cuts to Indy's tombstone, but suddenly, Indy's skeleton emerges from the ground wearing his iconic fedora and leather jacket, ready to continue his adventures even in death. Overall, "Indiana Old & The Phishing Scam Struggle" is a lighthearted and entertaining take on the challenges of modern technology and the dangers of falling victim to online scams, all while paying homage to the beloved character of Indiana Jones.
