SONIC Meets HIS BIGGEST fan

About to time I'm finally to show you something that I have been working from May to June, and that's as the name says, Sketchog Mania! A one month late celebration to the blue blur himself being Sonic, but with a different interpretation I did for the Sketchog version! Originally this was supposed to be on GameCage's Sonic 35th Anniversary Fan Showcase but due to the amount of entries that were in, I was unfortunately unlucky that this animation didn't make it in. Show some love to it shall we? A lot of cool fans worked on it! And if you wanna hear the Youtube version without the remix, then here as well: Checkpoint belongs to Hyper Potions, Nitro Fun, and Monstercat.

The Rooftop Run Animation for Sonic's 35th Anniversary (Short Version)

Hello Everyone! It's Sonic's 35th Anniversary! I hope you guys are enjoying this day too. Our favorite blue hedgehog's debut. Thank you Sega & Sonic Team for making a Cool Character that wears the nickname of being the fastest thing alive and for making games of the Blue blur. Also, I gotta thank everyone who followed and rated my stuff. It's been a nice run, and I'm glad to go farther after this. And with that, I hope you follow, I hope this gets rated well, and lastly, I hope you enjoy this. And with that, enjoy the Tribute to Sonic's 35th Anniversary! Flash Warning BTW! Artists in the Animation: Creationality Productions, @CreativeCalico There are references to different things in this animation, mainly the Everyone's Rooftop Run Shop. Rooftop Runnin - Rooftop Run Act 1 "A Sonic's 35th Anniversary Tribute"

Seems like the Chaos Emeralds wanted to troll Team Sonic during the final battle, huh?

HI EVERYONE! This is my first upload on Newgrounds, and my first fully 2D animation, made just in time for Sonic's 35th Anniversary and ahead of Powerpuff Girls Z's 20th Anniversary too! I've had this idea in mind since a few months back, but it was kinda hard to figure out how to animate in 2D until I installed Flash a few days ago. I've always wanted to try 2D Animation, but I never got started properly until now. Anyway, I made this with the hope of getting into Sonic Shorts Volume 12! (or Volume 11, if Paradox is still awaiting submissions, although unlikely) So, @TheSonicParadoxTeam, if you see this, here's the FLA for this potential submission, in case you consider replacing the audio as well as the placeholder Japanese voice clips from Sonic Heroes and/or adding this one to Volume 11 or 12:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hhPA6miZMFMnlZDVf0q0bKa__nUK1BBo/view?usp=drivesdk This is my proudest achievement so far, finishing a 2D Animation for the first time. So happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this. I've got another 2D short in mind that I wanna work on now that I've finished this, but I personally think this is my favourite so far.

My 18th Birthday Show, showcasing my (ALMOST) animations from 2019 to 2025.

Sometimes as "TinasheJK 18th Birthday AMV" (Very Belated cuz After June 3rd) “How did we get here?”. The main purpose of the video is to preserve my animation journey (or history) from my beginning when I was "Pre-Teen Tinashe" at the time (June 30th 2019)...even showing the cringe work that I'm not proud at all (My Early Voice Actor Shit). Also my animations files before August 2022 (The Stick Figure jumped and crashes on the ground part) are completely LOST, due to my first hard disk well....DEAD or broken on July 25th 2022 and the price to fix the drive is expensive AS FUCK which my father....cannot afford at the time and it's was replace with my current (FAT) 4TB HDD Drive on August 26th 2022....yep, moving on. Back to the topic, the animations I did was all done, independently away from my (than) Secondary School & College back I was just a "Pre-Teenager" and now an "Late-Teen Tinashe" cuz, well my secondary school doesn't have an animation lesson or my college does have it but it's mostly Level 3 Course....if you can't do shit, you better off do it all to YOURSELF at home with my influences that spark me to do animation. For context of HOW did I get here. It all started in June 2019, back when I’m still “Pre-Teen Tinashe” at the time and also an YT Gamer (1st Channel call “Tinashe Gamer”) during that time or one of those Late 2000s people who was a fan of DANTDM or any well-known YT Gamer at their prime. I start to experiment animation with Adobe Animate CC with sprites (Sonic) on June 30th 2019 and around July 2019 where I created Navy Blue Ball (Later as Navy Blue Ball Konpaku) & Cyan Ball (Now Known as Cyan Ball/or Cyanish Ball The Object) on II (Inanimate Insanity) & BFDI Assets. But Navy Blue Ball came first on 14th July 2019 and Cyan Ball came second on 19th July 2019. Ironically 6th Birthday regardless. It's was a interesting journey to say the least from my rare highs and...well lows from begin to the "end". so enjoy the preservation from my cringe past to the present-day. hope it's better on 2026. DISCORD ☆ YOUTUBE ☆ TWITTER (FUCK X) ☆ INSTAGRAM ☆ REDDIT ☆ PIXIV ☆ BLUESKY Contract for Animation Work or Voice or smth:Hotmail: tinasheJKSTEP@hotmail.comGmail: tinasheanimation@gmail.comAmerica Online (A.O.L): tinashejk@aol.com

An YT Teaser Trailer Version of an experiment project.

INFO: This "TinasheJK Enterprises" Version is only MEANT to be the definitive version of the project for (Exclusively) YouTube release. I have been working on an experimental project call "TinasheJK's Animated Shorts (Remake)" or most appropriately in this YT version call "TinasheJK's Remake Animated Shorts" for the rest of November and December 2024. Those shorts will featured my old (Or before November 2024) animations being remaking from scratch with some twist on them and including new animations which is NOT remake like something 3D's Esque look like shape things.....weird things. I also attempt to get the timing right by studying on the Timing & Spacing Session by Richard Williams (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqqJ0OHjcws&t=964s&pp=ygUpdGltaW5nIHNwYWNpbmcgYW5pbWF0aW9uIHJpY2hhcmQgd2lsbGlhbXM%3D). PLUS, I'm strongly recommended The Animation Survival Kit if you want to improve your craftsmanship on the medium. Google Drive Link:https://drive.google.com/file/d/17m2KjsBWDjkpsBYnjDZ1wV5SpYqr4ds0/view?usp=sharing.Initially, it's going to be my final animation of 2024 as "my swan song" with a BANG to conclude "the Transitional Era of TinasheJK" once and for all. (But not really, (?) as I'm also planning to make one more SHORT for December 2024.) About S.V.M: Allow me to introduce my new company (or Unique Brand), call "Saturn Vision Media" (Or S.V.M for short) and it's imply/presented for experimental, sophistication, creativity, stability, innovation, imaginative and ofc vision. It will the experimental company that will be the opposite of those media company who really hit their lowest or "care about money". Initially as the film distributor for TinasheJK Enterprises as planned. I do have future plans to make more under the Saturn Vision Media Brand like "Saturn Vision Media Studios" or "Saturn Vision Media International, Inc" As for the film distribution itself, it's call "Saturn Vision Media Film Distribution Co., Inc" (Or "Saturn Vision Media Distribution, Inc.") and imply exclusively distribution or promotion for my animation shorts & more (Which is done by TinasheJK Enterprises) exclusively for this year (AS A TEST), and it was a dedicated to Buena Vista Film Distribution/Buena Vista from the 1950s. Don't get me starting with my HUGE BEEF towards Modern Hollywood, Modern Movies or those cashgrab sequels that are POOR etc. Like it's really serious when they care about "Quantity over Quality". But for this one, I want to embrace my experimentation, creativity & imaginative to the world & my new company because no matter if is failure or unsuccessful or get rejection or not, I will still keep going or DON'T give up and stick to my parents word. Oh, I almost forget, included me embrace the old aesthetic from the 20th century. - C R E D I T S (Teaser Trailer) - Director & Producer by Tinashe "Titi" J. A few years back there was a Sonic Oddballs Collab, these are the two entries I made for it, call them

Sonic Oddball Collab Entires

The villainous Dr. Robotnik confronts Sonic about his frustrations.

v1.0 — Initial release. Used chroma key to separate animation from backgrounds.v.1.1 — Used alpha channel instead of chroma key. Green line art artifacts removed.v1.2 — Added SWF version. Fixed minor color mistakes for SWF version only. COMMENTARYI started this project thinking, “Oh, yeah, I know exactly how to draw AoStH Robotnik; I don’t need to use reference!” And then every frame looked like shit. So, I went online and referred to the show itself and these two pieces of concept art by character designer Milton Knight. A good lesson in humility. I accomplished a good chunk of animation on a livestream, but the stream was struck down because I played episodes of Adventures of Sonic for my friends to watch thinking nothing would come of it. Maybe I should stream on Twitch or Picarto, accounts where I don’t really care whether they live or die. It’s a darn shame because that stream was a lot of fun! DoodleDemon and I started calling each other “blithering buckets of bolts” and watched Robotnik do a Nazi salute and that was absolutely hilarious. The show itself is a lot of fun. It’s stupid fun. Every moment Robotnik is on screen is a good time. Scratch and Grounder are great, as well. The team that worked on it—including Milton Knight, the voice actor Long John Baldry (1940–2005 R.I.P.), and the storyboard artists (including Scott Shaw! From the early Archie Sonic comics)—did a fantastic job given the limitations they worked with. Overall, I definitely prefer SatAM over AoStH, but they are both very different genres of animation. While I was working on this project, Milton Knight leaked on Facebook that Diskotech would be doing an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog complete series release on Blu-ray and that it would contain new interviews with him. I had hoped that the release would be in HD given that it is Blu-ray and not DVD, but it was very unlikely whoever owned the rights to the show kept the film masters and only kept the master tapes, which inherently have a lower resolution. Later that year, Diskotech officially announced the complete series on Twitter. I am absolutely going to pre-order it. It comes out February 2022. If they ever release the SatAM complete series on Blu-ray (in full HD, knock on wood), I will die a happy man. Now that I think about it, I’m known by all my friends for being a huge Sonic fan, so it’s weird that it took until now for me to make a proper Sonic cartoon. This project started as a gift for MatterBoar. I felt bad that the previous animation I made for him was released in November 2020, 13 months ago, and I hadn’t made any new ones in that time. So I secretly started this one and originally intended to give it to him for free. He asked me if I was available for new animation work and I told him about this side project and he said he’d buy it! The deadline was Christmas Day. The night before, I promised myself I would work on this cartoon until it is 100% ready to release. I thought it would take maybe three hours. It ended up taking 22 hours straight. I only took three hour-long breaks to rest my hands and get a half-hour of sleep. A single cup of hot chocolate coffee got me through it! The thing that took the longest in this particular long stretch was the shot of Robotnik running in place. That took forever! I probably could have done this quicker, but I wanted to make sure each and every frame was cleaned up. I do not envy the animators of the original show. Despite how simple Robotnik’s character design looks, animating him takes a long time, especially compared to Sonic. Robotnik’s mustache and yellow jumpsuit straps in particular were very troublesome, as well as layering the different body parts. The most frustrating thing with Sonic was doing his baby blue highlights. Thankfully, Sonic hardly moves in this cartoon. (That’s kinda uncharacteristic of Sonic, but hey I’m not complaining!) I wanted to add some traditional paint-like motion blur to some of the snappier movements, but due to the deadline—and me just wanting to move on to something new—I could not do it in time. The tight shot of Robotnik’s face at the end was also supposed to be painterly, similar to the gross-out shots in SpongeBob and Ren and Stimpy, but after I took a crack at it in Clip Studio Paint, I couldn’t do it. Also, I felt that a rendered painting of a character wouldn’t fit a parody that tried to match the art style of the original show. Pre-production began in August 2021 and post-production ended on Saturday, December 25th. Normally, a 26-second-long cartoon wouldn’t take that long, but due to a myriad of continuous financial problems and setbacks, it took four months to complete. It probably would have had a better start if I had started by making storyboards. I run-and-gunned this whole cartoon and I definitely regret it. I ended up making last-minute changes to the character poses, facial expressions, etc., which isn’t something you really want to be doing a lot with deadlines involved. You want to make confident decisions in the beginning so that the changes later on will hopefully be few in number. Ordinarily, I would not do this slapdash approach with a commission. But this started out as a gift and turned into a commission later. Regardless, even quick, shoddy storyboards would have gone a long way! Lesson learned. Originally, I was going to commission my friend Dyoudi Mitimasa (@epicfunnyhahajokelol) do the background art. He is a natural at this kind of sharp, abstract art style. However, I did not have the money to commission an artist, especially at the time. So instead, I leave you with a huge recommendation to go check out Dyoudi’s art! He’s a wonderful artist and a wonderful person! Additionally, Milton Knight is still an active artist and has a Patreon! Go support him, too! I made this background art by referencing two screenshots from the show, shown in the timelapse video. At first, I was very happy with this art, especially since it was my first real attempt at abstract art. The reference really helped! But once I put it in the cartoon, something was wrong. Robotnik’s design is mostly warm colors. The background is mostly warm colors. I feel this leads to a lot of Robotnik’s movements being less readable than they should. Sonic is fine since he’s blue, orange’s complement. If I had to do the background art again, I would divide the composition into two sections: a cool section for Robotnik and a warm section for Sonic. CLIENTMatterBoar ANIMATION / BACKGROUND ART / EDITINGAlexander Emenheiser @ade-syndicate BACKGROUND MUSICDr. Robotnik's ThemeComposed by Reed Robbins and Mark SimonCover by Turret 3471 Main Title ThemeComposed by Clark GassmanIncludes motifs fromSonic 2 Title Theme and Emerald Hill Zone composed by Masato Nakamura,In the Hall of the Mountain King composed by Edvard Grieg, and Flight of the Bumblebee composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov AUDIO TAKEN FROMOneyPlays Sonic Robo Blast 2 - FINALEwith @Oney, Ding Dong, and JulianEdited by Dex the Swede FONTSPedro SPECIAL THANKS AND PATREON SUPPORTERSAnimation stream viewers, including DoodleDemon, for keeping me companyMilton Knight for being nice when I talked to him :)@SuprDee2 for being supportiveand giving me a new version of Toon BoomDyoudi Mitimasa @epicfunnyhahajokelol PATREON & KO-FI SUPPORTERSAleahAshleyFroggyDuwudeViktor Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog © SEGA, DIC Entertainment 1993 P.S. — I’m working on a new project right now!
