Captain and Kanga fly a garbage collection ship through space and into a worm's hole.

STARKERS - Episode 1

I'm just testing the waters with this one, I have a few more things I need to edit and change.I'm also currently re editing episode 1, I have a lot of work to do, I'm posting this as id like some feedback, what are the things you like, what don't you like, what could I improve etc.I'm constantly evolving my craft, I'm trying new programs, new mediums, new approaches to push my ability forward, so please call me out, I do everything myself, I'm learning new things everyday. episode 2 follows after the first "obviously" but i have had time to go back to episode 1 and add scenes and characters to make this feel more cinematic. the end of the episode features a strange voice, that will be fixed in the first, as well as i need to add creatures coming out of the fog at the end of this episode, but generally I'm decently happy with the production of this. I understand my humour is few and far between, I make this with love, and honestly don't make jokes to hurt anybody, so please if you do find yourself offended or upset, I truly am sorry you feel this way, but I will not change anything in terms of comedy. I'm walking this path alone, and i would really like someone to bounce of ideas, help me animate, i know my strengths are art and oddly voice acting, I'm in no way a classically trained animator, i do this in my spare time, my writing really needs work, and i try to improve myself everyday. Feel free to email me, id love to hear from you.<a href="mailto:AtlasAgainstTheUniverse@outlook.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">AtlasAgainstTheUniverse@outlook.com</a> Much love, Ryan.

wicked We Come Episode 2

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571748_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571748_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,296">VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 3: THE CLAW! Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571729_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571729_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="341,606">THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571750_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571750_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="248,419"> WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband &amp; wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571751_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571751_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,316">

Voodoo Vids - #3 The Claw

An interactive stylized 3D animated comedy about a dysfunctional team of adventurers.

Hey everyone, I'm making this post because I'm really looking for some honest feedback from the Newgrounds community. To be completely open: I've submitted 3 animations here before. They all passed judgement (thanks for the votes!), but across all of them, I've received exactly one comment. It's been a bit disheartening working in a vacuum, so I'm hoping this time I can get some thoughts from you guys—whether it's critique on the pacing, the animation, or the concept itself. I just want to learn and improve. The Project: I've just finished the Season Finale of my solo indie series, "Heroic Quests". It's made entirely in Unreal Engine 5. For this episode, I tried something ambitious: an Interactive Adventure (similar to Bandersnatch or In Space with Markiplier), but with a chaotic DnD/RPG theme. The party faces a Troll, and YOU have to decide who takes the risk. There are multiple paths and endings depending on your choices. Technical / Audio Note: Since I'm a solo dev with zero budget, I used ElevenLabs AI for the voice acting. I know it's not the Newgrounds ideal (I love human VAs!), but it was the only way I could tell this story with my current resources. The script, animation, lighting, and editing are all 100% human effort by me. 🎙️ Call for Voice Actors (Collab / Unpaid): That being said, I really want to move away from AI for the next episode! I am actively looking for voice actors who would be interested in collaborating. Since this is a zero-budget passion project, I unfortunately cannot offer payment at this stage. However, if you are looking for high-quality visual material for your demo reel or just want to voice some chaotic fantasy characters for fun, I'd love to work with you! Please DM me or leave a comment if you're interested. Where to play: The video below is the Trailer/Intro. Because the interactivity relies on YouTube's End Screen linking system, the full playable experience is hosted there. 🔗 PLAY THE FULL ADVENTURE HERE: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJxXHH5tKOU" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJxXHH5tKOU</a> If you have a spare moment to try one path and let me know if the "game" mechanics feel fun or gimmicky, or if the comedy lands, I'd appreciate it more than you know. Thanks for keeping indie animation alive!

[Interactive 3D] Heroic Quests Season Finale - I genuinely need your feedback!

Teaser for the 12 minute animated short-film Made of Tiny Boxes (in production)

This short film is still in production, and is the biggest project I have ever done. It's a 12-minute traditional animation short film. As an independent production, this satirical comedy takes us on the journey of the bureaucratic life of a worker who finds no rest even after death, only to face an afterlife run by a tyrannical celestial institution. We currently have around 70/80% of the film done, but there are still some shots to color and some shots to animate. The film has started production 2 years ago, and it's taking a slow pace because we have no funding besides crowdfunding, which wasn't enough for everything. We mostly take money out of our salaries each month until we have enough to hire someone for a month to get some shots done, while I take on some other shots on the side. We still need around 3000€ to complete the film quickly, so if any of you would like to help us out, you can send us whatever you'd like at: paypal.me/vascogil77 We hope you like this little sneak peek of what we have, and we look forward to be showing it to the public next year.

Made of Tiny Boxes | TEASER

I was making this animation and then delayed it to do a clock day animation. I came back and while it took some time, I finally finished the animation and had fun while doing so; hell, I laugh when I watch it because I like it so much. I'm gonna experiment with scripting and doing lip synced dialogue with my next animation and try do some cool drawy stuff just to spice up what I can do with the comedy of these animations I've been making. Anyways, enjoy.

Tumeke Space & Junior respond to a distress beacon from the of Planet Velora

This is the pilot episode for our 5 part half-hour animated action/sci-fi/comedy series. Apologies if this is a bit long for New Grounds. The remainder of the series is on our Youtube channel (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxW82YcTnC1e2kwXj6ZLJZQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">www.youtube.com/mukpuddy</a>). The idea of making a space adventure series where the lead hero is a Kiwi plucked straight out of the 80s seemed like a fun idea to us. We'd love to hear what you think. Guest starring Josh Ruben (Scare Me) and Kimberley Crossman (Deathgasm). Starring the voices of: Glen-Paul Waru, Kura Forrester, Josh Thomson, Ryan Cooper, Jamaine Ross, Alison Quigan, Joshua Marchant and Becky Kuek. Original music by Mike Newport Animated in Adobe Animate and composited in After Effects.

Stay safe, wear a mask, wash your hands, be safe.

Hey, it's Andrew. Voice actor. Writer. Director. Artist on a whole bunch of cartoons for people like Adult Swim and stuff. I thought of this comedy sketch while out on my morning jog. I improvised most of it, cut it together, re-recorded the dialogue that needed more punch, then made it happen. Turned out pretty funny. I figured no lip synch would make this animation process faster, but apparently if you don't see the characters speaking, you really have to do more to fill the animation space. Big thanks to Tyler for encouraging me to do more of these Convenience Store Diet shorts, Sarah and Paul for doing the artwork years ago, Anamanaguchi for that kick-ass theme song, and you for watching! Be safe, wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands, be healthy, and we won't have to get to the point of social distance sticks. It's just a comedy piece, please be safer than everyone in it.

"Lost Life" SAB Ep 01

So it has been another rough month, and I've been rather negative and pessimistic this whole time. Although I know there are some obvious flaws with this video, I'm going to use this space to say what…

Until It's Gone

This is my first Comedy series, "fearless Friends".

FearlessFriends Ep1

isn't alone, and this time he needs to run for his life....Enjoy part 1 of the 2 part parody of Dead Space

Dead Space 2 Parody-Part1

Politics, Deception, Espionage, Murder - Verbatim. Their words write their fate. Part 1.

GRAPHICS INTENSIVE; MEDIUM VIEWING QUALITY RECOMMENDED; SCREEN EXTENSION NOT RECOMMENDED 2 and a half years of work have led to this - my little 14 minute epic. To give fair warning, anyone in the mood for straight up action or comedy will probably be disappointed. But it is my hope that those ready to dive into a new world full of fantastic technology, false words, and rising snow will find much to enjoy in Dual Arms Verbatim Part 1. Those who would like the fullest appreciation of the story are encouraged to peruse the "World" section of the menu, (I've designed it to have no spoilers, save perhaps slightly in the NAU part of the factions). If you could spare the time, I'd really appreciate any constructive feedback you guys can offer on my work, so if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions for me, please leave a review. I can't guarantee a response to each, but be assured that I read every one. Thanks! EDIT 5: Subs finally active and pausable! Note again that due to a bug, subs are reactivated at the beginning of each scene, regardless of whether they were active or not. I have structured the subs to disappear in several dialogue-less areas, so it may not seem this way, but they are there. There is no known fix to this, but I hope it doesn't inconvenience you too much. Just turn them off if in doubt. If you come across any other bugs, (including typos and such) please PM me with them (don't review just to tell a bug - pm's are easier for me to keep track of). Thanks! The previous version added an extra's section with some links. Concept Art is also finally active!ENJOY! Anyone who wants more Dual Arms after seeing the movie and REALLY cant wait for part II may appreciate seeing the Verbatim Trailer here <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/537880">http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/537880</a> And if you don't mind some...crappy animation, you can also check out the chronological sequel to the Dual Arms Verbatim plot - Dual Arms Precipice <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/411273">http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/411273</a> It was made before starting Verbatim some 2 years ago, and it shows. My skill was even less then than now, and it has sound problems similar to Verbatim (though it DOES have sloppily done subs). But the plot there is a bit more understandable and in a sort of strange spoiler PRECIPICE CONTAINS THE FINAL FATE OF SETH FROM THIS VIDEO. With that in mind, those who liked Verbatim may enjoy it, so take a look. EDIT: Woot - Daily third! Thanks to everyone who voted. Rest assured, part 2 WILL be made; you WILL one day see the conclusion of Dual Arms Verbatim, should you choose to do so. With that in mind, please bear with me another few years whilst I set everything in order. T_T I hope the conclusion will rise to your expectations! Thanks again to all who watched. EDIT 3: FRONT PAGED! YEAAAAAAH. Thanks again to everyone who liked the work, and thanks to Tom for giving me the opportunity to get some more feedback. Part II will come people! Look out for it!

RIP Jack Black I loved you like a dad. Early life Black was born in California, the son of two satellite engineers, Judith (née Cohen) and Thomas William Black; his mother worked on the Hubble Space Telescope.[1] Jack Black's mother is Jewish and his father converted to Judaism;[2][3] Black was thus raised Jewish.[4] On The Tonight Show he said his surname may come from the Scottish occupational name Blacksmith.[5] His parents divorced when he was 10. Jack Black had a Bull Mastiff and Rottweiler mix named Chico. Chico died of parvovirus soon after Jack's parents divorced. Black moved to Culver City with his father and frequently visited his mother's home until the end of his first year of college at UCLA when his father's family moved to France. As a child, Black appeared in an early Atari Pitfall! commercial,[6] which was later shown during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and again on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When he entered high school, his parents suggested that he should transfer to the Poseidon School, a private secondary school engineered specifically for students struggling in the traditional school system.[7] Black eagerly accepted the proposition, afraid that he would only be bullied if he remained in public school. He also attended the Crossroads School, where he excelled in drama. Black later attended UCLA but dropped out during his sophomore year to pursue a career in the entertainment business, at which point his father discontinued his financial support. Fellow UCLA veteran Tim Robbins later cast Black in Bob Roberts. He also had recurring roles on the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show.
Acting career Black's acting career began with primetime TV. He played roles on several shows such as: The Golden Palace (Taxi Driver), Life Goes On (skinhead), Northern Exposure (Kevin Wilkins, prom king), HBO's Mr. Show, and Picket Fences (Curtis Williams). In a Season 3 episode of The X-Files, titled "D.P.O.", Black played Bart 'Zero' Liquori, friend to Darren, a teen who could cause lightning strikes, played by Giovanni Ribisi. Black appeared in an un-aired pilot episode for a show directed by Ben Stiller called Heat Vision and Jack where he played an ex-astronaut pursued by actor Ron Silver. He was accompanied by his friend who had merged with a motorcycle, voiced by Owen Wilson. Black later took on small roles in Airborne, Demolition Man, Waterworld, The Neverending Story III, The Cable Guy, Bob Roberts, Mars Attacks!, The Jackal, Bye Bye Love, Jesus' Son, Dead Man Walking, Saving Silverman, Enemy of the State, and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. In High Fidelity, he was cast in the role of Barry, the pretentious co-worker to John Cusack's record store owner, which garnered him more exposure. His career soon led to leading roles in films such as Shallow Hal, Orange County, School of Rock, Envy, Be Kind Rewind, King Kong, and Kung Fu Panda. Black starred in two films in 2006: Nacho Libre, in which he played a Mexican friar following his childhood dream of wrestling and pursuing true victory by fighting for the children of an orphanage, and Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny, a fictionalized account of the band's formation and their quest to obtain a "supranatural" guitar pick. Nacho Libre opened on June 16, 2006; Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny was released November 22, 2006. He starred alongside Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Winslet in The Holiday, in which he played Miles, the love interest of Winslet's character. In 2007 Black starred in Margot at the Wedding, opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nicole Kidman, released November 16, 2007.
Comedic style Black's comedic style combines many key elements from both sides of the traditional double act. Black typically begins a skit in which he presents an earnest introduction to a premise or subject that quickly reveals itself to be flawed or fundamentally ludicrous. Black then switches completely to a far-extreme caricature of human emotion.

We've been hard at work but we're finally ready to launch our revolutionary new series, Space Alligator

Space Alligator Episode 1

The biggest Nintendo-themed collab movie ever to hit Newgrounds!

Here it is at long last, just in time to celebrate Brawl...except, totally NOT! At all! The biggest video game parody to hit Newgrounds, featuring the people who brought of Go! Go! Parody Rangers, Perfect Kirby, Pornocreep, The Gamin' Friends and other such NG classics, as well as some of the best voice talent around: NiN10Doh! Back in the Summer of 2007 I wrote this series of comedy skits, all based on Nintendo games. I got nearly every piece of audio I needed within the same day, and put it on the back burner until after Rangers in Space was finished. I started working on it on my own...but my drive quickly went down the shitter. After thinking to make it into a collaborative effort, the spark came back. I had MUCH more motivation to work on my specific segments as opposed to working on the entire thing by myself. This was the first time I had ever tried orchestrating a collab movie all on my own, and while it was a good challenge and I love how everything turned out...I probably won't do this again. We ran into a LOT of problems. Several people dropped out and many parts were left unfinished...in fact I ended up DOING a lot of those same parts, hence why I've animated so many segments compared to the others. However, those who managed to get their stuff in made the final product look astounding, and I think this movie'll hit it big with everyone. I had a lotta fun conceptualizing these jokes and there're some in there I've had since I first became a video gamer as a kid. There was intended to be three Phoenix Wright segments as well, but let's just say "God didn't want me to have them animated". It got too late and it just wasn't gonna happen. Sorry. Either case I think you'll really enjoy this, or I certainly hope ya do. This baby involved LOTS of solid hours of work, late into the night, by several parties. Seriously. You don't understand. Hours upon hours upon ridiculous amounts of hours fixing up everything and making it as good as possible. Major, MAJOR fuckin' props to Richie Zirbes for his beautiful menu design, doing all of the actionscript and also included his hilarious Pokemon segment you'll see near the end. Thanks to all 10 of my fellow flash animators for your commitment to the project and I hope YOU guys'll like the final product as much as our audience. Oh and look for the Easter Eggs! They're in the main menu...in a very obvious spot that I'm SURE you'll figure out. EDIT: For all billion of you asking, though I'm confused as to how it wasn't obvious, the Ash beating up Pikachu segment was done by Richie Zirbes, creator of Perfect Kirby. It's already IN the description, since I wanted to point out that he came up with it himself and I included it in the overall movie because it was funny...and I also realize that this ONE part of the movie is the reason 90% of you guys seem to like this thing at all. Oh well. EDIT 2: Same note, Richie just put up some downloadable wallpapers on his site. Go check 'em out, as I'm sure a good lot of you're dying to have the Wii babes on your desktops. <a href="http://www.johnrichie.com/V2/downloads.php" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">http://www.johnrichie.com/V2/downloads.php</a>
