A collection of old Flipnote animations I made from 2010 - 2011.

'The House' is a series of Flipnotes I started in school about a House that likes eating annoying humans and going to Tesco for a bowl of Coco Pops. These shorts are a "Starfish & The Hot Dog Flavoured Water" production, which is a totally original name a friend and I did not copy from anything similarly named. Enjoy!

Novyn gets double plowed by tentacles whilst riding on a weird starfish or something.

Nothing fancy just my OC Novyn getting double plowed by some tentacle thingies whilst resting on like, I don't a starfish or something. You may have questions, but the only answer I have for you is "I wanted to get two tentacles in her, and the rest just kinda happened..." You can find a longer version of this one with more camera angles in my 6th animation pack over at Affect3d -> https://affect3dstore.com/busty-elves-in-peril-animation-anthology-vol-6 Enjoy! Making of my starfishy

The 9th Cyanide & Happiness short that I've worked on!

This is owned by Cyanide & Happiness, but I drew and animated everything here! This is an animatic, not the final animation, but if you're interested in how it turned out, click here to watch Land Ho on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2daBleAafY This one was a breeze. I happened to luck out in temp music finding some track from Sinbad that included a lot of beats that I was able to sync the action to. Steve Lehman, C&H's brilliant music composer, crafted something that went just as well and all original. The Caribou Queen is an inside joke from my brother Chris and I as children, when we heard the song "Caribbean Queen" by Billy Ocean, we heard it as "Caribou Queen" and upon learning that a Caribou is a reindeer, the song became hilarious to us. When I auditioned with a test animatic to Cyanide & Happiness, it involved a ship that I also named the Caribou Queen, but that audition is kept under wraps from an NDA- so this was a more public nod to the joke. I was also listening to a lot of funk as I worked, so slipping in Rick James for sexy temp music was a no-brainer to me. I love these Mermaids, I had a lot of fun posing out their acting, and the guy eating out a starfish is one of my favorite things I've ever done. Mike Salcedo edited this animatic a little bit for the final shot with the Mermaids in disbelief in the foreground of this beach orgy unfolding before them. Directed by Mike Salcedo

EDIT: 1,000 views. You guys are the best! Let's bump it up some more! It's about more than a starfish really, but I've never been good at naming things. I first had this story told to me by a man called Philip Carr-Gomm, a fantastic storyteller who is participating in my film Fable: The Lost Art of the Spoken Word. Check out more to do with that below. www.facebook.com/fablethefilm
