The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack was composed by Reed Robbins and Mark Simon. This is new-ish for this account, but I wanted some way to put up this restoration, so doing an animation (based on parts of Sonic 3) centered on the track felt like the best way.As far as I've seen, there's been two other restorations of this track on YouTube, and they both have issues with filtering out SFX. It does make an appearance with minimal SFX in "Prehistoric Sonic". I only had to use that episode for the whole restoration, with some splicing and duplicating.I got the name from its appearance in "Subterranean Sonic", from a line Robotnik said during. AOSTH OST - "Destruction and Devastation!" [AMV]

Just another day of hard but peaceful work for the inhabitants of Windmill Village.

It is a beautiful day in the Valley of the Windmills, and its inhabitants are hard at work. Beneath a great earthen jungle mound, in their subterranean chambers, the Frogapes of Windmill Village bustle about one of their most important grain mills. Within the compound walls, pulleys and rope lifts move precious stores of grain and flour into the old stone chambers. The complex, which also serves as a fortress in times of trouble, stands as a testament to the early builders of the valley. Other than repairs, it is doubtful that such a structure could now be built by the new generation of Frogapes. The complex runs so deep into the hill that some have disappeared within its depths, into secret corridors and hidden vaults where the old stonework rests in silence and no torchlight ever reaches. Sam and the others find themselves in a fun adventure full of action and insanity!

Sam Nestar is FINALLY BACK in the long awaited follow-up to last year's episode, and just in time for the scariest day of the year! >:) I really hope you all enjoy this one! I highly recommend watching with headphones (please be careful and try not to damage your hearing). This episode took a lot longer than expected to make. it's scope became much larger as I worked on it (with very little planning tbh). I wanted to split it into two parts at first, but I wanted to just release it all in one piece instead. I slowed down the pacing and created a much larger story, the original pilot was intended as a small taste of the series' future and I wanted to improve on what the pilot introduced. You can see a lot of intentional parallels to the pilot sprinkled throughout this one! I'd highly recommend watching the previous one too, if you need a refresher or have never seen it! I'm incredibly happy with how this one turned out. There's definitely a lot that I could've done better, I highly encourage feedback and criticism. It will help me a lot for whenever I start the next episode! (FUN FACT: This is a re-imagining of this old failed attempt I had called "Project SnesBro 2018", which the animatic for was never left unfinished and abandoned for over 3 years... until now!)

Subterranean Ani- what?

Tamias is Greek for "storer," a reference to the animals' habit of collecting and storing food for winter use.[1] The genus includes twenty-five recognized species,[2] with one species, T. sibiricus, in northeastern Asia, one, T. striatus, in eastern North America, and the rest native to western North America. Some authors have recently suggested that Tamias should be subdivided into three genera, corresponding to currently recognized subgenera Tamias, Eutamias, and Neotamias.[3] This usage, however, has not been widely adopted. The common name originally may have been spelled "chitmunk" (from the Odawa word jidmoonh, meaning "red squirrel"; c.f. Ojibwe, ajidamoo). However, the earliest form cited in the Oxford English Dictionary (from 1842) is "chipmonk". Other early forms include "chipmuck" and "chipminck", and in the 1830s they were also referred to as "chip squirrels," possibly in reference to the sound they make. They are also called "striped squirrels", "chippers", "munks", "timber tigers", or "ground squirrels", though the name "ground squirrel" usually refers to members of the genus Spermophilus. Tamias and Spermophilus are only two of the 13 genera of ground-living sciurids.
Eastern chipmunks mate in early spring and again in early summer, producing litters of four or five young twice each year.[5] Western chipmunks only breed once a year. The young emerge from the burrow after about six weeks and strike out on their own within the next two weeks.[6] Chipmunks have an omnivorous diet consisting of grain, nuts, birds' eggs, small frogs, fungi, worms, and insects.[5] At the beginning of autumn, many species of chipmunk begin to stockpile these goods in their burrows, for winter. Other species make multiple small caches of food. These two kinds of behavior are called larder hoarding and scatter hoarding. Larder hoarders usually live in their nests until spring. Cheek pouches allow chipmunks to carry multiple food items to their burrows for either storage or consumption.[7] These small mammals fulfill several important functions in forest ecosystems. Their activities harvesting and hoarding tree seeds play a crucial role in seedling establishment. They consume many different kinds of fungi, including those involved in symbiotic mycorrhizal associations with trees, and are an important vector for dispersal of the spores of subterranean sporocarps (truffles) which have co-evolved with these and other mycophagous mammals and thus lost the ability to disperse their spores through the air.[8] Chipmunks play an important role as prey for various predatory mammals and birds, but are also opportunistic predators themselves, particularly with regard to bird eggs and nestlings. In Oregon, Mountain Bluebirds (Siala currucoides) have been observed energetically mobbing chipmunks that they see near their nest trees.[citation needed] Chipmunks construct expansive burrows which can be more than 3.5 m in length with several well-concealed entrances. The sleeping quarters are kept extremely clean as shells and feces are stored in refuse tunnels.
