Glenn and Citrus: Plastic Surgery

Kid on an imaginary trip to space from the hospital elevator.

This animation is based off of my experience (imaginary and non-imaginary) as a kid who has been to the hospital more times than I would like to count. Since I am (was?) a rare case with a non-cancerous tumor, it was dangerously close to my brain resulting in surgery. So ever since then I have had one eye closed from the age of 2. Maybe a parody of my experiences will come next, I dunno, the possibilities are endless. The music in here is also what I created from scratch by me with the app Garage Band. Rough Animator was used for the animation. It’s also on my youtube channel, Art Bomba, no need to go there though since that place is crawling with AI &gt;:( BLEH!

Replacement Surgery

Survived 2 lung collapses and a stomach ulcer a whole year ago. Just turned 29 on March 30

So, a little backstory. Around this time last year, I was in and out of the hospital with two lung collapses on both sides, which i had to get surgery for. I experienced a complication shortly after one of my surgeries where I had a unexpected perforated ulcer in my stomach which prolonged my stay in the hospital for 28 days afterwards. It was a process during that period. I lost about 20 pounds, my diet had to be decreased due to my stomach healing, I even had to wear this tube which went all in my nose to my esophagus which felt miserable. Fast forward to NOW, I'm back home. I just celebrated my 29th birthday on March 30th. I just thank God for giving me the strength to fight through this process and I'm grateful to be back home and to be back to a sense of normalcy. This animation just represents how faith and mental and physical strength can get you through anything! Is being white and tiny better? Science has the answer!

<a href="https://pukebomb.newgrounds.com" rel="nofollow">@PukeBomb</a> presents...Neil deGrasse Tyson: White for Science? Is being white and tiny better? Science has the answer! How one surgery can solve the observable, interstellar universe's biggest problems. Neil deGrasse Tyson breaks down intriguing new theories alongside other universal parallels and statistics that could solve Global Warming, Overpopulation, and the Existence of a Higher Power. How much do we know about the universe? In this Joe Rogan Podcast Interview Visualizer, we explore the topics of... <ul><li>Noxious fumes from cows: How burps and farts result in higher methane in our environment.</li><li>Lonely men due to natural selection, or need for depopulation? How microplastics and China are the solution.</li><li>Religion, both in monotheism and polyamory. Does God exist, and why is she a woman?</li></ul> Forget wave-particle duality, the color of the sky, the tides of the ocean, neutron stars, gravitons, core collapse supernovae, and black holes. In this video, we're diving deep into the WHITE hole. Isaac Newton has nothing on what a tinier, whiter version of Neil has to say about his modest proposal in this neurologically rewarding brain teaser of a video. Key and Peele will regret ever making fun of Neil now that he's veering headfirst into becoming a God. For those that cannot stop time like Neil deGrasse Tyson, here are some of the key topics from today's riveting discussion: TIMESTAMPS:0:00 - An Introduction to the World's Greatest Surgery1:00 - The Biggest Problem(s) in the Universe1:18 - TOPIC 1: Global Warming aka The Bovine Busting Epidemic2:02 - How You Can Help!2:08 - SCIENCE FACT: Microplastic Mammories2:27 - TOPIC 2: Overpopulation aka The Collectible Cuties Cure3:48 - SCIENCE FACT: Gundam Gorgillians4:04 - TOPIC 3: The Existence of a Higher Power aka The One True Goddess4:20 - Learning About Religious Polyamory5:25 - God is a Woman Learn the cheat codes to sustainable living while having fun with astrophysics. An annual game of Goobomb in Scratchopolis spirals out of control. Will Scratch Cat and his friends be able to save the day? Watch and find out!! The episode "Modern Warfare" of the TV sitcom "Community" for inspiration. Scratch Warfare

Every time anyone questions the jiggles, they get JIGGLIER. When designing the background cats, I looked towards Mr. Blik, Gordon and Waffle from Catscratch, and Cat from CatDog. Obviously with a little surgery. I was also gonna add Cool Cat from Cool Cat Saves the Kids, but I decided against it. The setting was originally gonna be a pretty flower garden, and insects were gonna be reacting. I thought it would be more appropriate for Evelyn's character if it was in a cemetery, and if cats found out about her... deformity. The insect version had this ladybug drawing I couldn't stop giggling about, even though I was working on this at my day job and had to be quiet. I might put up the original sketches someplace soon... One of the first few doodles of Evelyn showed her with cat ears because of a Tomodachi Life outfit, and that wound up being a mainstay. I wanted to see a cat girl that actually was like a cat, and it just looked good on her. One of the graves says "Flinch", as a polite nod to the voice of Gengar in "Gengar's Pie Prank", Maxwell Flinch.

a pod of bots made a harsh landing on the red planet

A thing I wrote that I thought it would be cool to read over some footage that would accompany the theme. The soundscape came from me screwing around in Audacity for 15 or so minutes, and I thought it had a similar theme to the writing. I was working on Santa Smoke Prologue and Globetrotter when friend of mine Noah who was interested in collaborating at the time offered his skills, and I had the idea of painting a mental picture for him and having him recreate it in Unreal engine because he was learning to use it at the time. Clearly, Microsoft Sam read the script rather than myself, for two reasons, one being I have not found the confidence in recent times to try spoken word, and I've been really down in the dumps for 3 weeks recovering from a screwed up surgery. Finally started to move around more a couple days ago, ended up (gross/bloody warning): s̶p̶l̶i̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ o̶p̶e̶n̶ a̶ b̶i̶t̶ a̶n̶d̶ b̶l̶e̶e̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶l̶l̶ o̶v̶e̶r̶ m̶y̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ s̶o̶ I̶ h̶a̶d̶ t̶o̶ g̶o̶ t̶o̶ t̶h̶e̶ d̶o̶c̶t̶o̶r̶ t̶o̶ g̶e̶t̶ c̶l̶o̶s̶e̶d̶ b̶a̶c̶k̶ u̶p̶. Mentally drained from a week of agony and following weeks of boredom and insanity, and 3 moderate complications later, I caved and spent a fair bit of time scrolling social media (twitter and youtube), something I try strongly to avoid. It got the best of me and I felt even more miserable from doing nothing, to a point the day after I came back from the doctor (so 3 days ago) that I decided I am going to get back on the computer and finish up some old crap ive been working on. So I put this together, hosted a modded Minecraft server for my friends to play on with customized world generation and perfected configs, and made <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/926228">that little game about the philosophy of self destructive behaviour, insanity, and the internet.</a> <pre>Script:

a pod of bots made a harsh landing on the red planet
the immortal rover sustained a head injury
doomed to live forever with amnesia and limited problem solving skills
merciful would be water, on the brain, but it's bone dry round these parts
biomechanical superbeings form a roaming grouphome
home away from home, it seems new everywhere they go
little do the rovers realize, they're like half blind field mice
retracing the circumference of a small crater, made by their impact

oh, they're hardly poor souls
after all, ignorance is bliss
life goes on

one bot, nicknamed tom servo, not particularly capable of escaping small craters or repairing broken hardware, lost the ability to speak, and thereby the ability to call for help or talk sense into his handicapped crewmates, but is otherwise entirely conscious and unharmed

it's going to be a long life for tom servo
</pre>I used DaVinci Resolve because that's what I've got for video editing, my dad bought some kind of big package and anyways I have a copy, but I am very inexperienced with it, I apologize if anything is wrong with it from professional editor standpoint. I hit the target for what my vision on this project was, and it was cool to work together with someone on something, made this a quick and easy project even though the pieces sat in a folder for like a month. I have spent more effort on this description than what I created ok done bye
