In the bustling present day of December 2026, Chris Chan was living his best life in the spotlight. His hit 90s-style sitcom, "Chris Chan: Electric Dreams", penned by the legendary Chuck Lorre of Mike & Molly fame, was topping the charts. Better than any throwback show, it turned Chris's quirky world into laugh-out-loud gold: episodes full of Sonichu zapping trolls, awkward dates, and family moments that hit right in teh feels. Fame had finally arrived. Billboards, fan meetups, custom merch. He even won a snap election to become mayor of Ruckersville, Virginia in a landslide! His first executive order was to rename the town CWCville for real, obviously. Chris was on top of the world! As a kid, Chris had a rough start. His dang ol' dad, Bob, was a gruff handyman type, always tinkering and dropping wisdom like, "Life's full of splinters, son...watch where you step." And his mom, Barbara? To Chris, she was the most beautiful, stunning, gorgeous woman alive, an angel in human form who sewed his favorite shirts and cheered his wild ideas. Through bullies, Sega ruining the color of Sonics arms, and so, so, so many girls who were NOT boyfriend free, his parents guided him toward this moment of triumph. But one ordinary afternoon at the local Starbees, everything shifted. Sipping a Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte (Available at select Starbucks near you!), Chris spotted a familiar crew of dirty trolls in the corner: the OneyPlays gang. Cory Spazkid doodling hot ladies on a heavily used napkin, Chris (Not Chris Chan. A different Chris with an epic Youtube channel) cracking up, Lyle rizzing up some baddies, and Tomar casually munching on a delicious tree star as always, green and crunchy. "OMG, it's Chris Chan" Cory whispered. They waved him over awkwardly. Chris beamed, spilling latte while attempting to wave back. His Iconic Red stripped shirt was covered in the sticky goodness. This was it. His lowest moment. Then, his phone buzzed: breaking news. Electric Dreams canceled. Ratings crashed, critics slammed it as "too much," Chuck Lorre publicly un-alived. Fans flipped to a better show like Smiling Friends overnight. Chris froze, medallion dropping into the puddle of coffee. The cafe fell somber, fame evaporating like steam from a forgotten cup. Back home in his cluttered room, surrounded by faded dreams, Chris crumbled. Dad long gone, Mom too frail, loneliness hit hard. But a soft zap glowed from his medallion. Sonichu appeared, holographic and loyal. "C'mon buddy, let's run away to some other dimension, together." Chris hugged his old friend tight, tears falling. Fame's peak had led to the deepest valley, but in the quiet tragedy, that spark of imagination endured. The end. 20 animators redo the original english dub opening, ROCK THE DRAGON

Toriyama sensei's work inspired multiple generations of animators, especially due to being dubbed in so many languages early on in the popularity of anime in the west.We originally released this on Goku Day 2024, and now it's here on Newgrounds to share as well. I know this song is hated by a lot of people for good reason, lol. But please follow me on this line of thought- I'm 38, and I've been a huge DB fan since I was about 11 or 12 in mid 90s America. My first exposure to the show was even earlier, original Dragon Ball in full Japanese airing very early in the morning on some channel we got when I was a little kid. I'd think this was a fever dream if I didn't remember so many details. The impression the show left on me (in both instances) was enormous. How it LOOKED and how it MOVED. I'd never seen anything like that then. Seeing this dumb intro blast on to tv all insanely with the Ocean dub in like, 1997, broke my brain in a phenomenal way. This I know to be true as well for a lot of current animators who are aging rapidly like me (lol). I've seen Japanese language DB several times over at this point, and like a weird purist don't ever watch the dub-- but oh baby, the Ocean dub in the 90's just hits that specific way that brings me back to being so small and sitting in front of a tube TV, absorbing the show into my bones. I wanted to pay tribute to that feeling, and how much effect this feeling has had on the animation community across the globe. I was deeply saddened by the loss Tori-sensei this year, way too soon for it not to be tragic. I feel like I owe so much to him. I hope he knew the sheer amount of people he influenced, just exactly that same way. Brianne Drouhard - Worthikids - Aaron Long - RubberRoss w/Giwi - Quinn Taketa - Charlie Bryant - David Liu - Nas Pasha - SmallBu - Tom Barkel w/Sarah Harper - Ashley Nichols - Louie Zong - Paul Robertson - Arin Hanson - KC Green - Parker Simmons - Abby Memedokies

Hello everyone, Tom here. This short film was inspired by the poem "Pale Blue Dot" from Carl Sagan. It was made in a period where I had been working on politics, and the social ambient was pretty toxic and hopeless. I saw first handed stuff that led me to feel hopeless about humanity, like how the political and economic kind are so intertwined, full of rage and greed. I felt that humanity was in a path of destruction, with no hopes or dreams more than survive, buy and obey. I felt that humanity was pathless, pointing to nowhere collectively more than to self destruction. I started the idea of this film on late 2016, after I dropped of the university, but the lack of knowledge pushed me to learn new softwares and skills. after that I started to show to some university friends what I was making and they decided to help me. It took much more time than I thought, learn to direct animators and audio artists. But this is our first short film and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching it, Tom from Soul Ink.

VG Exiles - Episode 3: SHADOWLAWLESS After two years, the long-awaited VG Exiles Episode 3 is finally here! Now boasting the incredible art direction of CE-RAP, this episode represents the first step of an evolutionary leap for the series. It's been a long and perilous journey, but now CE-RAP and I are ready to dazzle you with a flash unlike any you have ever seen before! It's long, huge, and EXTRAORDINARILY graphic intensive, so make sure that you see it on a good computer with a good connection. Also make sure that you have a comfortable seat, because this baby runs for half an hour! I must thank Tom Fulp for allowing this video to premiere here on Newgrounds. To my knowledge, it is the largest flash submission in the history of this site! So... be patient with that loading bar... TomaMoto It's about time I got this out, huh? (Oh, and if anybody knows the song playing in the Shadowlaw scene, please note me in a PM and I'll credit it here. I lost the info when my computer died a few months ago.) R1665 -------------------------
- CE-Rap says the following--- I just wanted to personally thank Tom Fulp for giving us the green light. This size is pretty much gonna be a standard for every episode now, so Tom---thank you. A very big thank you to all the rabid fans! Your comments are awesome, your support is humbling, and your words are endearing. Thanks for never giving up on R1, and thanks for making me feel at home on this site. A BIGLY-HUGELY-BIG thanks to ALL our fantastic voice actors. All of you deserve a standing ovation for bringing emotion to the sprites and my artwork. I sincerely look forward to working with you guys in the future. Joshua is the only one I've spoken to personally, thus far, so a special shout out to him for coming through in a pinch. I know I can get wordy so lemme just say this last part and I'll leave you guys to watch this in peace. When R1 and I first started this in April, he was of the mind that I was just supplying simple pictures. Neither one of us EVER expected this current juggernaut of an episode---the genesis of what we believe will be one of the best Flash series on Newgrounds, period. He took heed to my belief that this series could be legendary and the man deserves ALL DUE credit for keeping up with my never-ending and ever expanding imagination-which, as he has learned, moves at FTL speeds. This release cements the birthplace of a truly beautiful partnership. I am proud to know him, proud to work with him, and proud to call him my friend. Cheers to you, "Riggie."

EDIT 9/24: Thanks for the awesome reviews and the Daily 4th guys! And thanks to Tom for the frontpage. Really satisfied with how this all turned out. **Please Submit to Madness Collection** Worked 4-5 months on this. Probably one of the fastest toons I've whipped out. Enjoy. **SPOILER WARNING**:
Murkier trivia about movie:
-Red syringes causes chemical alterations (mutations).
-Green syringes reverse mutations and revive.
-The crab-beast was a mutated agent killed behind the glass.
-The plant creature was the agent with white glasses who kept returning.
-Red glasses signify weak agents.
-Green glasses signify moderate agents and have the ability to give the wearer nightvision.
-Black glasses signify advanced agents. These agents have permission to seal off doors.
-Yellow glasses signify elite agents and have the ability to manipulate any agent of lower status.
-Orange glasses signify prison guards and have the ability to give the wearer enhanced strength.
-The prisoner shot the agent with the yellow glasses because he manipulated him.
-The agent who allies with the protagonist only joins him because he threatened him.
-The protagonist's mission was to save the prisoner and blow up the facility. He knew he was a time bomb and he knew he was going to die at the end.
-There were 71 kills overall.
-There will be a sequel. I also have a character sheet located here: http://alpha-nuva.newgrou nds.com/news/post/520648
