The Somewhere in Somewhere Show, Ep 4 - The Tortoise And The Square

"Greg and Harry race to the Finnish line. There's only one way this can go." This was my first year student film for college, the assignment was to adapt and modernize a myth into a short animation. I chose to adapt Tortoise and the Hare into a wacky racing comedy. This is the culmination of 3-ish weeks of work and a ruined sleep schedule. Enjoy! Animation/Voices/Editing by:Me... Animal Street Racing

Mineral mimicking reptile of a tortoise like form found neath the mountain that I shall dub Thing Mountain the second for now as a placeholder till I find a more suitable name...I discovered the creature after a deep trek in the dark. I accidently sat upon its singularly scuted back as it lay buried-hidden and I was surprised to find myself elevated and mobile despite my contrary action of resting. The cavern/cave dwelling beast had quickly uprooted itself from the stone and begun to take me upon a journey deep into the bowels of the mountain... Shorts of how the Skylanders cope in each Equinox or Solstice

I was originally suppose to post these individually on the equinoxes and solstices of this year here on Newgrounds like I did on Youtube. But I was busy with a lot of things. So now I'm compiling these shorts into one. Each of them was based on the Chinese Constellations which also represent some of the seasons, like the Azure Dragon represents Spring, Vermillion Bird represents Summer, White Tiger represents Fall/Autumn and Black Tortoise represents Winter. There was also one I did for midsummer focusing on the Yellow Qilin/Kirin but I felt that short was really underwhelming so I decided to cut that off. You can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lArryJvwKV0 Maybe I'll do a take two on Midsummer Nights Dream and have it be a parody of Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.

Pondering is a claymation series of interviews from real people. Nothing is scripted

Today at the pond we ask about your favourite, and least favourite movies, what you like about them and standout actors you love to watch. As well as some insight on working infront of the camera. Today we hear from an animation fan Raccoon, a Batman fanatic and Indie film actress Shrew, a Tortoise with a familiar Caterpillar talk about Kill Bill, and the Robin and Red Kite return to talk about their love of Star Wars Pondering is a claymation series of interviews from real people. Nothing is scripted from the voices of these animated pond-side animals as we hear about their lives, interests, opinions and experiences ---------------------------Created by PSB - https://www.youtube.com/@PSBAnimations Music by GH - Specially made for this episode - Thank you to all the participants of this episode and everyone who supported it - Pondering Episode Three - Movies--------------------------- https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PSBanimations

Movies - A Claymation Series of Interviews

Another one of my animation class projects (in no specific order), and this time it's one of the first ones I did for the class. The point of this one was to see if we can take 3 or 4 objects and animate them transitioning from one object to the next, based on what we know about the principles of animation.I think I did mines a little too well though, someone even jokingly remarked that I set the bar too high, lol. But I did enjoy my other classmates' works too, they were pretty fun to look at and see their unique, creative ways of tackling the project! Anyways, here's a tortoise morphing into a couple different creatures. (PS: thanks for the 200+ fans, i appreciate it!)

Morphs (Loop)

I decided to take on the old Aesop fable the Tortoise and the Hare, and use it as an excuse to animate

The Tortoise and the Square

My brain is about to spill so everyone get back. Get off your dusty patty wagon and watch my cartoon. Anyways here's my twitter but that doesn't matter, what really matters is getting rid of of those dirty blood sucking femoid mosquitos. Don't make your grandma a none fungible token, people WILL BUY HER AND OWN HER!! Keep her in her rocking chair and make her watch M*A*S*H or Gilligan's Island till she runs out of oxygen and turns into oat meal. Anyways I hope everyone is having a neat day. If you have any criticisms then please leave a review if you want but you don't have to. May fix this description later.

Timmie the turtle

A Slooooow tale about a tortoise who wants to fly.

WARNING: The following tale is very slow, so you may well find it boring..... hopefully not. Well, I worked hard to get this finished by xmas, and I just about managed it. But seriously, this thing is 5 mins - that's the longest thing I've ever done! It was partly a test of many things - using abstract backgrounds, filters ect.... Also to see if I could make something suitable for all. It's also an excuse to use some kick-ass music which I loved. I was quite happy with the way it turned out, but I felt that perhaps it was still a bit too slow. Ah, well. So be it. Ya.
Try to watch it until the end, 'cause it does have a cheesy moral.
Hope ya like, and try to refrain from reviews that say - 'it was boring', because it's supposed to be.
Have fun, and drive safe.

Tortoise Be Happy

The idea behind this is that Mario is 'The Hare' and is faster than Luigi* 'The Tortoise'.
