Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/ We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Pokemon-Drifloon Tribute

A series of slice of life comedy skits I animated back in my office days for fun.

A series of animations I made back during my tenure at my last job, a small media production house. It wasn't a big place, but it had a history in the city I live in currently, our CEO was one hell of a guy. Truth be told, that job may actually have been the most soul fulfilling, mind maturing and eye opening experience I've had in my life. I honestly would've been a much worse off person without them, financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I wasn't able to continue working there in December 2025 due to budget issues caused by our main client's closure and I was released with a 2 year in a row finished contract. Not bad for a first time job. I do visit my old co workers and boss every now and then to see how they're doing. This supercut is dedicated to them and how much they helped me along the way. Little Guy vs. The Office Supercut [Original]

This was a real thing that almost happened.

No yeah, over in Denver Colorado, United Airlines thought this was a fitting tribute to the tragedy that was 9/11 Thankfully they cancelled it at the last minute, but it was a real "What were they thinking?" Kind of moment that I felt like was silly enough to laugh about and point out how ridiculous it is. This was also a huge speed test, I got this done in record time. United Airlines 2026 9/11 Tribute

After the huge impact of atla left us with, We decided to dedicate our own tribute!

So what is this all about?A reanimated collab (or multi-animator project) is a fan-made tribute where hundreds of artists reanimate a small scene from an existing show in their own unique style. In this case, over 300 animators, voice actors, sound designers and music producers are joining forces to recreate the first two episodes of classic nickelodeon show - “Avatar: The Last Airbender” —shot by shot— as a tribute to the show. This passion project, titled "Reaired", is entirely non-profit and made out of love for ATLA, showcasing the creativity and dedication of the fan community. It’s set to be released in 2027, honoring the series in a fresh, artistic way through hundreds of different interpretations. Each participant can choose only one scene to reanimate in their own style and after they finish it, it is possible to choose another one and of course after they finish with the second scene, it is possible to choose the third and so on. You can reanimate them in your own style. It can be anything! From 2d animation to 3d to stop motion and even live action remake. Happy Mother's Day from the Heart of Linphea! In the magical world of Skyla the Dragon Knight – an official indie spin-off inspired by Winx Club – we honor Poppy, the future Queen of Linphea, devoted mother of Princess Lyna, granddaughter of the legendary Queen Krystal, and beloved future wife of Flora and Helia’s grandson, Herb. Poppy is a gentle, mildly autistic fairy whose love for her daughter blooms as beautifully as the flowers of Linphea itself. With her unique perspective, quiet strength, and deep emotional wisdom, she proves that true motherhood is the most powerful magic of all — patient, understanding, protective, and endlessly caring. This special Mother’s Day tribute features a heartfelt montage of real celebrity thank-yous to their moms, beautifully transitioning into original hand-drawn anime artwork of Poppy’s tender embrace with Princess Lyna. Lily Love braids Song! Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 AMV

A little while ago, I went to check up on an artist that I was a fan of, called SierraEx. Sadly, it appears that they have deleted their Furaffinity account, along while all of their artwork of a particular character: Arika, the burned jackal. Distraught, I made this animation as a tribute to her and the character, please enjoy. FuN FaCtS: -Arika is (was) owned and created by SierraEx -The chopped down tree is meant to symbolizes SierraEx deleting her account. -Her outfit is based on a piece of lost artwork that you can no longer find outside of the Wayback Machine. -The human's outfit was based on James Earl Cash's outfit from manhunt -MS paint couldn't open the very file it was designed to open 3 times during the making of this animation -Arika was originally supposed to be playing a guitar. She would have been playing the opening riff to the song, Goodbye almond eyes by early 2000's pop-punk band, Tokyo Rose. I decided not to have her play the guitar because SierraEx never drew Arika playing the guitar. Arika does however like to read, which is why she is reading a book. -The statues in the water were inspired from Skyrim. -Originally, the human was supposed to cup Arika's cheek. I didn't like how that looked so I decided the he should pet her head instead. When that also turned to looking like ass, I figured that I'd just have the human hug Arika. -Yes, I did just copy the hug from one of my Underdurst comics, specifically Underdurst 25: All Gone... -I started this project on March 17th if I remember correctly. -I make these animations by drawing the frames in Microsoft paint, then I copy and pasting them into Clipchamp studio, hens why they're so stilted and why there are so many errors.

Battle For Replica Island tribute

Learned @rakko666 passed away.

Not sure why, but a man of his talent followed me. I thanked him with a video of his ladies. He was so, so grateful for it.

Hecho con stop motion a mano, ellis deberá enfrentar a unos de sus mayores miedos

If You want to support this animation go to My YouTube channel (cub0_cinic0) and watch it there... I really appreciate all the support the channel has received during this time despite the inactivity (remember I’m in university).I’ve always wanted to make a longer video that breaks away from the usual. Animating with Tricky started to feel boring and repetitive—that’s another reason I stopped using him. I enjoy doing stop motion, but not to the point of being stuck with just one character. And of course, I love L4D2—an amazing game full of life (and not just zombies), with a huge community, mostly from Peru (key country gaaaa).I wanted to make it a horror video, but you know me… I’m not exactly the type to take that genre seriously. There might be another L4D2 video like this coming soon—maybe focused on Azumanga, or even TF2 but with the Azumanga girls. I really liked the anime and I’d love to make an animation as a tribute.Tricky won’t be coming back for a while… only in shorts and stuff… try to understand… I also want to enjoy doing this…#l4d2 #left4dead2 #animation #shrekMusic used (most relevant):L4D2 – The Monsters WithinL4D2 – Save Me Some Sugar(I should’ve used more L4D2 tracks but I was lazy)Golgo 13 – Command G13 (Ellis vs Shrek battle)Rest in peace Mr. Saito, a great composer from his era :( And that’s it… leave your thoughts in the comments. This wasn’t easy to make, especially bringing you another detailed stop motion since Among Us. But I’m excited to see how the channel keeps growing…
