UNT!TLED - Ep 2: Uncanny Valley

This is my very first frame by frame animation called “Taroshi”

I used Procreate and Picarts to edit the frames into a video.Taroshi design is a taro steam bun with a shrimp on his head. This animation is a gloomy dark animation in the making.

Man, i had A LOT of fun with this one, my biggest dream was to make a stop motion episode, and while this obviously doesn't look like real stop motion, it still has that vibe and i personally like it a lot (Tho i can understand this might look creepy or uncanny to some!) This episode was more of a "Test Animation", because i plan on making this style my "secondary art stye", it's gonna appear in more episodes, so i needed a more simple episode just so that i can ease myself into this style and get more comfortable with it, which is why the plot is fast and kind of like a speedrun of a Groovy Dudes episode! But i still enjoy it, and since i now know how to animate this style, i'm probably gonna be more "ambitious" with the episodes. Also, while this art style will appear more (Again, it's my "second art style" now!). I'll also have more episodes where the art style is changed, like i plan on making an episode called "Door OS" that starts out in 2D but the characters are sucked in a computer and become more 3D tho they will obviously still be animated like they're 2D since it all just be basic 3D shapes photoshoped similarly to this animation, but they'll look slightly "cleaner", and the backgrounds will still be actual 3D, i might reinstall gmod again and have them interact inside a couple of those maps (Tho i'm too scared to pirate it cause i don't know if i'll get a virus XD) And, i also plans to make a lineless style, similar to something like Samurai Jack! Anyways, that's all i have for today, cya till then next episode, bye :D

Blackhole

Weird little animation I made a few weeks ago for an abstract animation assignment.

Weird little animation I made a few weeks ago for school. We had to make an abstract animation, something I typically don't enjoy so I tried having fun by making it unsettling and putting lots of effort into sfx.We had to include one piece of music too, so I chose a Kevin Macleod song and distorted it so much it barely sounded like music! I had fun, but only spent 3 days on it instead of 3 weeks, cause 3 days before the deadline the teacher told me my original idea was probably not fitting the assignment, too much story-ish.So I scrapped that and started anew! Was a lot of fun, but rendering took ages. I didn't know about some blender settings so even with my fast laptop, one of the shots took 12 hours to render.

THE STORY OF THE HUNGRY CHILD Here's My Horror Short film and If You can Notice It's kinda inspired in the Binding of Isaac. Also, The Blue Background Is an image Of a Random Color Paper and The Rest was Digital! The Music Used Is The Childhood Flash backs From Maniac. Fun Detail Though Is That The Animation Is Sloppy and Choppy in Purpose, I Thought it be a Great idea To Add more uncannyness To The Video (Fue to The Nature of The Whole thing of course) Anyways, Hope You Enjoy This short film of mine! :D

Uncanny Landings - Intro

Animating in Krita is hard. I'm definitely using Opentoonz next time, but I've already spent too much time getting this to work as much as it does.

Well you don't know me...
