The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: <a href="https://youtu.be/2xDUeHmDdMI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Mario Over the Years! 1</a> - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following: <ul><li>Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game</li><li>References to different Nintendo game console generations</li><li>5 cherries to give you "invincibility"</li><li>2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"</li><li>Franchise game/console codenames</li><li>A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):</li></ul>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. They have a great relationship, I think...

They have a great relationship, I think... Kept you waiting, huh? I'm not sure if I ever put it in the descriptions on here but since I am trying to step up the quality and length of videos I will likely only be posting once a month or so on here (more on socials/Patreon for other short videos/things that don't fit this site). I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out overall; I think the concept is cute and there's a lot of ways to go. I also think this one lends itself to either futa or lesbian, so there is a lesbian version on Patreon. I have another part planned for this video, but it might be a while to get there since the concept will be kind of complicated to enact (definitely isn't the next video); this video still has some technical things that I am trying to see how to rectify, but they probably would have taken another month to fix so I suppressed my ego and am posting it and will continue to look for solutions while making more stuff. There's some teasing, light absurdity, and intense hole usage, a whole bunch of stuff I enjoy doing and hope you enjoy watching! If you think this content is good and want to support, or want early access to videos (including unique shorts and stills), higher quality versions, work-in-progress reports on projects, or want to see alts of these videos from other angles/sometimes the same context in both lesbian and futa, try <a href="https://www.patreon.com/c/OneBigBit" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patreon</a>! I post 1-2 times a week about works in progress, early videos, etc. Regardless, thank you for watching my content here! What was once going to be an animation on Maple Riot, and then its own thing back in 2023, here’s what was going to be a random 1v1 animation with Sakura Haruno from Naruto fighting against Morgiana from the Magi anime series. I don’t know much about these two other than them both being fighters of their respective worlds and also having pink hair, and as someone who hasn’t fully seen the respective anime of these girls, I figured that just so this doesn’t go to COMPLETE waste, I could still upload this old, but fun project of mine for you all to see! Usagi's Shop

This is the fifth episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2022, marking a three year gap after the previous episode. The original production behind this episode was very complicated, though weirdly this version was much easier to adapt in some respects than the previous episode's adaptation. This episode marked an art shift in the series, relying much more on Inkscape than GIMP. Initially, GIMP wasn't going to be involved at all, but then there were some issues I had to fix that were a bit complicated to fix in Inkscape so I used GIMP to help (I had gotten GIMP back on my computer by this point.) One problem with the art style here in my opinion is that a lot of things don't really have as much texture as they might have had before. It has a more flat feel. Nonetheless, I guess it was good to play around with what Inkscape could do. Both GIMP and Inkscape would continue to be used for later episodes. I did a bit of chroma key/green screen experimentation in this episode. I sort of did that in the previous episode, except not as successfully. I initially wanted to use green screen for the part where Jeff is on the TV in that episode but ultimately I just poorly composited the clip over top of it. In this episode, however, I managed to rather efficiently use green screen to put in two vehicles. Another thing I experimented with were the transition effects available from Pitivi. Only two transitions really appear, but nonetheless they were fun to play with I guess. Characters from previous episodes make some cameos as extras in a crowd, albeit most of them in a redesigned Inkscape form. Some other extras are subtle pastiches of characters from pop culture, although one or two of them were ultimately altered a bit as to not look too similar to what they were referencing. Copyright/right of publicity concerns got to me a little bit again. Speaking of copyright, the only sound I really had to change in this production was the "wee" sound, which, like in the other episodes, was originally a different "wee" sound with a conflicting license. Pretty much all the other sounds were fine. Exporting was a slightly bigger obstacle. Like the previous episode, when I exported through Clipchamp it resulted in some weird graininess in some parts. Again, I had to employ the help of Blender's video editor to get a cleaner result. Pitivi was used for the bulk of original production, but there might have been a bit of OpenShot involvement as well. I decided to include it in the credits just in case. A few different screen recorders were involved in the animation process. One of them was recordMyDesktop, which I had used in the previous episodes, but others included Deepin Screen Recorder, Peek, and VLC's built-in recorder. I think I lost access to recordMyDesktop at some point in production which explains why this occurred. recordMyDesktop would ultimately be retired from usage in later episodes as I moved towards new and better tools for making animation. The card that honors people who have died in recent years originally listed some names of notable people, but I ultimately removed the names because I felt like it wasn't necessary to elevate anyone above everyone else. One extra who appears is based on the Rush drummer Neil Peart, who had died in 2020. Originally he was going to be a pseudo-Force ghost in reference to one tribute I saw that was an edit of a Return of the Jedi frame, but ultimately I decided that might be taken the wrong way and seen as poor taste so instead I made him a guy who plays drums (the sound for which I made using Online Sequencer.) Neil had a mustache at one point so that's why the guy has a mustache; he was sort of a conglomeration of Neil's appearances in life so as to not realistically resemble him too much (due to potential publicity rights concerns.) The WHAT News broadcast also contains a small reference to Rush as another tribute. The WHAT News anchor is voiced by my dad, who is credited under a pseudonym. He also has connections with the band that created the outro song, hence its usage. Well, that's all I'll say for now. Hope you enjoy, but it's okay if you don't.

one punch man if it was fucking awesome

A small showcase of.. my procrastination coming out with new skills.. and anxiety!

Right so, I've been sitting on this one for a while. started it a few months ago. stopped, procrastinated for a good while. started it again, stopped for about two weeks before I got the mood to actually finish it. and looking back its definently "better" than the last one I've posted. more audio usage, slightly better quality animation if still a little funky at times.I even took the liberty of trying out some more experimental stuff like animating electricity. whether or not the masses enjoy it so be it but to me. I'm okay with this. 280 some odd frame hell. This is actually the alternate music version using Crawler Madness - Locknar, the one from Project Nexus 2.

Madness Purgatorio: PRIDE

A mysterious new pony named Ruby rose was conjured in a cauldron and escapes.

Ok so i have recently been watching tamers mlp series and was inspired by it, I'm a huge fan of dark humor and satirical works and while I may not appreciate all the poop jokes (lol) I've grown a genuine admiration for the series and the character arcs, especially since I grew up on MLP. All credit goes to tamers for the inspiration and hasbro for the usage of the characters and places. In this episode the creation of a new character is born in zecoras cauldron, Ruby rose, a menace to come.

Bunny Girl fighting against criminal organizations.

This animation is based on a Light Novel I am writing. It tells the Story of Usagi Shinobu, a former gang member, who now works as a waitress and part-time V-tuber, but is being persecuted by several criminal organizations around Asia. She then meets the goofy cyborg BOSS, a mysterious man who never removes his helmet, and whose mission is to protect Usagi from a tragic fate. After becoming her manager they fight together against many assassins. This example shows the use of Pixel Bender to dither an image in Flash.

Abstract:Adobe Pixel Bender was created by Adobe Systems and released in 2008. It was initially added to Adobe Flash Player 10, which was the first version to support Pixel Bender-powered filters and effects. However Adobe began to shift its focus towards other technologies and deprecated Pixel Bender in favor of move time and effort into the Stage3D and AGAL. The specific date of obsolescence may vary based on Adobe's updates and announcements, but generally, it fell out of active use in the mid-2010s. I do recall working with pixel bender kernels a little bit, Away3D made really good use of them before Stage3D and other Flash Player 11 commodities were added. A friend of mine would use the kernel for large data processing since the filters and sharers would run asynchronously, with the proof of concept resembling OpenCL usages. NOTE: I could not get Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit running in Windows 10 or 11, I had to use VirtualBox to emulate Windows 7. Controls: <ul><li>None</li></ul> Bugs:<ol><li>
