so this is an animatic made for the finals, where I had to create an original story and make an animatic about it. This is also based off by a story I wrote for another class. Surprisingly, my classmates did like my animatic, and heard verbal compliments, which it’s not usually shown in my classroom when watching projects. For me, it was a lil meh but whatever, I still enjoy it

Somehow the duo from the previous episode survived, what will happen now?...

In this episode, follow the direct continuation of Yon's encounter with Tranic, occurred before a short test made by Yon. Some text will appear in Brazilian Portuguese, and others in English; verbal text will no longer appear in future versions. Note that this is an older animation of mine. The music used throughout the video is "Giant" from Madness combat, made by Cheshyre, all credits to him! I hope this video doesn't get taken down because I'm using his music!

In this episode, you'll follow the encounter between Yon and Tranic. Tranic is just a Bavage, an ordinary citizen, but something goes wrong between them... I came across an old vhs tape from the mid 70s which had this weird racist advert. Revolving around a series of a duo named The Adventures of Rolf and Dom. This one they are stuck in the chinese rainforest until they come across some company.. Also this video is clearly jokes and satire. Calm down. It's a tribute to the racist commercials of the 50s and 60s and a satirical take on racist cartoons of the 30s - 60s in the Clutch Cargo style (well... sort of)

It has trouble connecting with other children, is easily overstimulated and is often confused for a troublemaker by teachers. But by learning the truth about what it is and by harnessing the power of communication, it learns that just because it's different doesn't mean it can't live a happy life with meaningful relationships. 'Mixed Signals' takes place in a world where everyone is a robot. There's no language of any kind, verbal or otherwise, and none of the characters have faces. Instead, they communicate with each other by sending visible transmissions via the satellite dishes on their heads. Different wavelength colours mean different things. They can also visually display their thoughts on feelings on their heads like television sets.'Mixed Signals' is an allegory for living on the autism spectrum. As an autistic creator myself, many of the events that take place in the film are inspired by my childhood experiences before my diagnosis. The film is already well underway. The preproduction stage has been completed and we are currently in the production stage where we develop backgrounds and character animation. The film is primarily animated using Toon Boom Harmony and features character rigs created by yours truly, but will have hints of other animation methods throughout. The film also features a small list of talent already lending their skills to production. The goal is to have the film completed by November at the very latest. 'Mixed Signals' is mainly being financed out of pocket, but more help is definitely welcome. If you'd like to make a contribution to the project, consider donating to our Kickstarter. There are multiple tiers with their share of perks on offer. If you'd like to support the film AND want something material, we also have a line of custom products on Redbubble. Get the logo in a wide selection of colours on shirts, hoodies, pins, what have you. Links to both the Kickstarter AND the redbubble will be made available anywhere the film is promoted. Any and all proceeds that we earn for the project will go towards compensating the artists helping me. Thank you for your interest and be sure to tune in for the release of Mixed Signals.

Here's Chapt 1. As promised I will try to do an episode a month or so. The serious shader won out in the poll so I switched it to that. **I know theres some de-sync with the lip synch- and honestly I dunno why thats happening since in the program it plays perfectly but on final render everything got messed up even though I tried it a couple different ways** Special thanks to the VAs
Kristyn Mass
Ardailec
and Sir Undead This is a redux of the old shinobi noir series I made a while back. Originally when I was going to redo this I was going to make a lead up to this but then I decided to do it more like Final Fantasy 13, story wise and have the EVENT at the beginning with flashbacks and exposition along the way to understand the characters so they show themselves more through action than just verbal stuff. It might have gotten dull with an origin story from the get go (although there will be one later (approx Chapter 5 or 6) Because there are some characters that don't come in until the 2nd 3rd ep and if I did the other way, they wouldn't come in until 5th or 6th ep. Also this is more a drama with action elements than something like naruto which has more action/comedy or something. Synopsis: Amari and Ryu get sent on an assasination mission that doesn't turn out so well. Ryu and Old man Chiaki have a secret discussion that might be overheard. Next ep will have some new chars and my fav char- Hibiki which was modeled after the Hibiki char from the last blade but has a totally different personality/motivation/history etc Patreon http://www.patreon.com/user?u=102503

Kagemusha Chapter 1

created & animated by Danny Lesco aka Mister Motherhugging Herbal.

Bye!

Lif-Thin' Weights

The Kerbals are about to attempt their first Mun landing. After days of launching satellites into orbit they're finally ready. Jeb has the honor of becoming the first Kerbal to get to the Mun.

This i…

Munar 1

The year is 2014. Kerbal kind has reached the stars - but at what price? First contact is imminent, and it is looking ugly. The planet Kerbin sends its bravest warrior, Jebediah Kerman, up into the stars to fight the space invader. What Jeb doesn't know will kill him - if his own spaceship does not first! The president of Kerbin has prepared the following message in case of highly probable catastrophe: IN THE EVENT OF mun DISASTER: Fate has ordained that the men who went to the mun to explore in peace will stay on the mun to rest in peace. These brave men, Jebediah Kerman, Bill Kerman, and Bob Kerman, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for kerbalkind in their sacrifice. These three kerbals are laying down their lives in kerbalkind's most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding. They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the Kerbin; they will be mourned by a Mother Kerbin that dared send three of her kerbals into the unknown. In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of kerbal. In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic kerbals of flesh and blood. Others will follow and surely find their way home. Kerbal's search will not be denied. But these kerbals were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts. For every kerbal being who looks up at the mun in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind. PRIOR TO THE PRESIDENT'S STATEMENT: The president should telephone each of the widows-to-be. AFTER THE PRESIDENT'S STATEMENT, at the point when KSA ends communications with the men: A clergyman should adopt the same procedure as a burial at sea, commending their souls to "the deepest of the deep," concluding with the Jeb's Prayer.

Mirjam's Birthday

Tests so simple, no one can do them! Dave Bruno's TOFA 2011 Round 3 Entry!

This is my entry for the 2011 Tournament of Flash Animators (TOFA) 3rd Round. We had 4 weeks to animate to the theme "Divide by Zero". While dividing by zero is literally in this animation, the way I interpreted the theme was how everyone reacted when I told them what it was. The conversation, every time I had it, went like this: "So what's the theme for Round 3 of TOFA?"
"Divide by Zero"
"That's impossible!" There you go! But more literally, I did research as to how this theme could be interpreted. Sure, there is the Internet Meme way where the world implodes or something, but I vowed that I would never do an internet meme (well, unless its something to do with Slenderman, because he is scary and awesome! But definitely not any of the "funny" internet memes) solely due to the fact that I don't find them funny and everyone does them. I like being an original. So the ways I found I could do this theme varied. One way was the fact that Mathematician's consider dividing by zero "an expression that has no meaning", which I thought of a few dramatic ideas for (like Totaled 2), but none of them took off the ground. Then I took it literally, inventing this Math World (inspired by Donald Duck in Math Land.) and had this Division Beast attacking a town, then a small, sheepish character who represented Zero stood against it and the beast inevitably killed itself because you cant divide by Zero. It was like a Children's cartoon, no strong violence, a nice sounding Narrator explaining the whole thing, a moral about actions speaking louder than words and all that jazz. Problem was I couldn't figure out a way to write it and even if I did I think it would have been 10 minutes long. Then finally I came to the fact that dividing by zero is literally impossible (go ahead, try it on a calculator, when I did it on my phone's calculator it says "Invalid Operation".). So instead of doing the theme "Divide by Zero" I broadened it to "Impossible". So there you have it! I really liked this animation due to the fact that I made it more about the visual, character acting portion than the verbal jokes and story. I definitely have 2 scenes from this that I am going to put into my demo reel. I also found it extremely fun drawing Bill Gully (or "Son" as he's referred to by the Boss. However, to clear up confusion, he is not actually his son or blood related in any way. Boss refers to everyone younger than him that's male that way.) in his DXi Human Testing Jumpsuit. I've always wanted to do something involving campy old Sci-Fi movies (much like Don Bluth's Space Ace.) and his suit kind of reminded me of that. Otherwise, hope you enjoy it. If your curious about the making of a scene, please visit my Website and watch "Evolution of a Scene" in the Animation section. There you will find a breakdown of how I did the "Lick your Elbow" scene.
