There were a few errors including spelling fever wrong. And for some reason, the shadow effect on Lanolin is vertical instead of horizontal... I know the video sounds random but had to be edit this way to be safe version. I have the other version cooking.

Actually, I wanted to make a vertical-format illustration, but somehow it turned into an animation. Hmm.. you never know where art takes you. Hope you enjoy it. Wet wishesAranyce 🩵

Proof of concept for our upcoming series MOTHELL

The Mothell is always open.Come in. Sit down.Something will come along. Okay, let me try to explain a bit of the context, even though words aren't really my thing. The concept is very simple: we're in this surreal diner/motel floating in a space/non-space, where ambiguous characters come looking for... rest? Comfort? Who knows... And where things happen. In every episode a new character is added, and there will be no time ellipses — they'll all be consecutive. All episodes together, watched in a row, will form a single short/feature film, I imagine.Nothing earth-shattering in the traditional sense, but every episode is a metaphor for something — although I won't be the one to say which ones, I'd like everyone to see what they want in it.There's a lore behind it, and what happens happens for a reason, but again, I'd like you to discover it as you go through the series. I'd like to tell you how this idea was born, but I've spent the last two weeks working so intensely day and night on this project... so many ideas, so many changes of direction, additions, modifications, that I've forgotten what the initial spark was. I think that at some point I simply said to myself "Hey, let's try to produce something, doesn't matter what." And so I started putting together some of the low poly assets I've created over the last few years, without worrying too much about the story, just to see what happened. To have that feeling again from when I was a child and played with my toys, and it was enough to just spread them out in front of me on the floor, and suddenly they came to life and anything could happen. And, just like back then, everything happened. I took my "abandoned factory" assets and built a diner out of them (if you look closely you'll notice everything is wrong — the tables are workbenches, so too high to comfortably eat at, and the counter is too low, which is why the protagonists sit in those awkward positions — and those are just two examples), I added a couple of human characters, and made up something for them to do.From there some stories started taking shape in my head, enough to start thinking about making a series out of it, and what seemed like a one-off thing now feels like one of the most interesting projects I've ever come up with. We'll see if that's true. The only rule I gave myself: I want it to be weird, to look off, to reflect my personal pursuit of the "not beautiful." I know, not much of all this happens in this first episode — the main goal here was to see if I was capable of finishing one — but I promise you, as we go on, it'll get better. Then, obviously it's all weird — or maybe I should say New Weird? I'm a huge Jeff VanderMeer fan — so I imagine you have to be into the genre a bit, but either way I'm giving it everything I've got. I'm also leaving here a photo of my paper storyboard, even if you probably won't make much sense of it, I can barely make sense of it myself haha — initially I was planning to post it only as a reel on Instagram, which is why it's in vertical format.Thank you so much for your attention and see you next time! !!! Attention !!!If you're wondering why the Pilot episode was released after 5 previous episodes, please allow me to clear up any confusion! The show originally had a pilot episode that was released BEFORE the current episodes. This pilot was split into 3 parts and was animated in 9:16 format (vertical phone screen). I was still experimenting at the time and learning the ropes when it came to animation and releasing a show so in retrospect I regretted the decision of releasing the show in that format (which I changed in following episodes). The animation style was also far below the standard I set in later episodes after developing my skills and honing in stylistically. Due to all these factors I decided it was time to scrub the original pilot off the internet and recreate it with better animation, better voice acting, better sound design, and brand new added lore + scenes. Okay!!! I hope that clears up any confusion. On the bright side, if you've only just discovered this show then there are currently 5 more full episodes for you to watch right after this (Which adds up over 80 MINUTES OF ANIMATION) I hope you enjoy and are ready to join us on this amazing journey T Shirts - https://bigshotandfriends.com/products/a-j-supa%F0%9F%92%80deth-t-shirtPatreon - https://www.patreon.com/bigshotandfriendsInsta - http://instagram.com/_podge___Website - https://www.podge.org/ Credits :Podge - Lead Animator/Director/WriterAlconteh - Assistant AnimatorQianson - Sound DesignSilas Roe - Lead Composer Music :Silas RoeKAMI EXPRaceCarBedLitoTheDonReevehBen CrystalT1MB3R Voice Actors :Nelson Abrego - Big ShotPJ Kanis - A.JDrew Pengilly - BossRachel Adkins - MaryRay O’Hare - O.X 1Momo Seto - O.X 2Nate Washko - O.X 3Elijah Kim - O.X GoonsPodge - Big Brother

This video is mute(I don't have fund to afford sound :D) All of my animation on this compilation is finished with krita, some are imported from firealpaca and tweaked and finished on krita.

An animatic about the most Important Quest in Zelda. This takes place sometime after Link meets Zelda. I wanted to try my hand at designing a more normal fairy design for Navi. And the plot just came to me pretty quickly. I hope everyone enjoys it. If you are interested. I started seeing if I could puppet the characters around with after-effects but couldn't wrap my head around it. Then I upgrade my Clip Studio to get longer animation. Before I just dragged around the PNG in Premiere Pro. But this time I dragged them around in Clip Studio... But, but, this time it was easier to flip from one frame to another. I'm hoping to lean more into nicer animatics instead of a slide show. But the drawback would be that I would have less time to tell a story or I'll have to sacrifice art quality. I'll figure out what's best for me. Also, I played around with the aspect ratio. I like it and I thought it would fit the old game. Plus making a vertical video out of this would be easier.
