I made this yesterday but didn’t upload it on Newgrounds.

As an honor of Cartoon Network’s 34th Anniversary being today! I made this crossover animation of franchises and characters from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim getting ready to battle and fight each other! I thought this was cool to make because it reminded me of the O.K. KO crossover episode and the same with Jellystone. This took me about 3 weeks to animate and I finally got it done!Anyway, here is the list of franchises I added in this animation and are 100% guaranteed to be seen.Regular ShowAdventure Time Uncle GrandpaRick and MortyThe Powerpuff GirlsAqua Teen Hunger Force12 oz. Original YouTube Upload: May 6, 2024 Wild Takes are commonly used in cartoons when a character exaggerates, making eye-popping expressions or similar reactions whenever something happens in their situation. I also tend to see some of the SMG4 characters do that, so I figured I would animate in Garry's Mod based on I Am Weasel.

Eye Popping Wild Takes

The Tooncels all gather round at Rick's crib to wait for Santa Daddy

The Tooncels all gather round at Rick's crib to wait for Santa Daddy. What has he got in his sack?~~~~~~~~~~~~Commentary:So yeah Merry late Christmas! Here's the fashionably late Christmas cartoon. It was sort of a bitch and a half to animate singing for the first time and at some parts it straight up looks like some characters are having a seizure but I like how it turned out and there's some sentimentality to it but of course I had to put in jokes. I recorded each of the characters singing verses and then stacked them on top of each other for the authenticity of having it sound like it actually sounds when children are singing in a chorus, everybody off-key and on different parts of the song. And no, the character who kind of sounds like Rick and points out Santa's fat sack isn't an animation error that's actually Bandit, he was a character I had in mind at the conception of this series and was one of Rick's classmates in Demon Dilemma who I wanted to have lines in that but couldn't think of a way to integrate and the thing was already long enough so I cut for time and I decided to finally have him properly speak before the year ended so he can be one of the OG characters. He was actually originally a ferret but then I came up with Freddy based on the Japanese ferret pet pages that show on my social media feed so Bandit became a weasel but now I'm realizing he kind of looks like a kangaroo or maybe some sort of chihuahua. I'll probably have fun in the future riffing on his species ambiguity. There's randomly a little more "political" humor in this than in previous ones idk why not really partisan it's just I randomly had the string of words 'Kamala Harris bikini magazine' come to mind and knew it was planted to my brain from God to put that out in the world. Also featuring JFK's cutie patootie grandson. Gave a shoutout to some of my friends from the art department I hope to collab with in the new year and dedicated this to a dear Twitter mutual who died earlier this year. I also began to edit the credits accordingly so my NG handle is present in the NG version and my YT handle in the YT versions.

Big Weasel Lil Weasel is my production company. It was named after the movement by some pet "owners" to chagne the word owner to guardian or ugh parent. I chose to call my pet ferret Little Weasel and I was Big weasel. In making my comedy special I wanted a new logo and had this idea for this massive almost mountain sized ferret that the little weasel sat on. Animation-wise, I recently have been blown away by the features being added to Blender's Eevee render engine. This was done in Eevee because I recently learned you can have volume based shaders in it which is mind blowing. If you don't know this, eevee was originally made to render on a surface level which means that vokume shaders working this well is kind of amazing. I mentioned this in another post but if you are one of the people who reads these descriptions, let me know because I put effort into them so as much info as possible is out there.

This fight scene was a long road of an animation dream of mine. I wanted to combine classic anime movement with classic kungfu movie fighting. Specifically I felt the use of magic in the world of kungfu and casual ability to become air borne wasn't being done. Anime ramps up with a certain speed that I felt took away from kungfu style combat. The stytle art wise of the game speaks for itself if you have animation/comic literacy but to say it out loud: I wanted to combine late 90s early 20s comic book style with ps2 geometry. A lof of ps1/2 era art focuses on replication of both the shapes and the textures and limit polygons. I wanted to do something different, By putting vertices around joints I could have more movement while still having the shapes of ps1/2. I was not interested in the horrific ps1 era textures that were muddy and pixelated and blurry. I felt that shapes, raw shapes, are avoided in cgi. I want to bring that back; not every mesh needs to be smooth or even fit a design. My goal is always cartooning. The aim is to take a real object and represent it with a simple shape that has style. The best example in this piece is the Alchemist's (Bart or Bartender's/teal character) Hair. Like I said this isn't game footage. You can't play as this character or fight like this. This is an animated cut scene that has some extra stuff for upload to Negrounds as well but I think I may use this animations to create an action game down the road. The magic involve is also signficant. I wanted beams to look how they do in manga and comics NOT ANIME AND MOVIES. I wanted them to look solid and tough not radiation like. I want the viewer to see the effects and think "are they conjuring and object or a force of energy?." That confusion is being animation one way but looking another is meant to expand the horizons of what magic can look like in animation.

Troma Alums Mike Fallek and Ricky Glore team up to lampoon Bluey

Me and @rickyglore also a horror director and comedian found here teamed up to properly redo the opening of Bluey. Ricky came up with the idea (as he is a parent I suspect he has had this idea for a while :) ) and I animated and voiced the piece. I did the aniamtion pencil style during a picnic. Really. Using the classic technique of folding paper in half to make a light box I just animated on a pleasant day out side. I used some masks to make them fit conventional 16:9.
