SKETCH STUDIOS PRESENTS: WESTERN WASTELAND TRAILER

This is an intro done for my series I am working on. It took me around a month or 2

It’s set in 1873 where a strange fair styled correction facility has been created by Lu, the warden of this facility. It offers a sanctuary for inmates to live, be protected and pay off their debts to society. By surviving death games for their freedom. Clients who have been wronged, or people who just want to have a fun time, come and let off that much needed steam. All under the happy and watchful eyes of Lu. Our trio of outlaws Boone the leader an aggressive alcoholic killer, Jessibell a wench with a heart of gold and a mean streak, and Jack an innocent teenager accused of a crime he didn’t commit forced now forced to live along side these criminals. Alongside Clint the front man of Lu’s operation, our charming executioner who falls deeper into depravity. Welcome to the Town Without Laws. ——————An adult horror series I am working on currently. It was all mainly animated by me, I did have some additional help from other animators who had animated scenes for my college thesis. Kenya, Rebis, Rolo, Hana, and Brady. Intro warning artwork and Cloone (ClintxBoone) art was by Lolo/Lee. music composed by Mike (Cool Cat) This is a passion project I worked on for years, it’s a mainly solo project with only additional help for people willing.

The Town Without Laws Intro

was supposed to be a music video, but I don't think I'd be allowed to upload the music I set this too on newgrounds. if I can find a song that'd fit the role for it I'll happily upload another version of this video, but for now, silence. :3 version with sound can be found on my <a href="https://x.com/elwar_arts/status/2027963609515692363" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">twitter</a> <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@elwar_arts/video/7612158807409462559" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tiktok</a> and <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/elwar-arts.bsky.social/post/3mfxvuiemks2r" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">bluesky</a> If you'd like to read the story you can find it right <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/series/488447/blaque-weit-all-comic-books">here on NewGrounds!</a> Hope y'all still enjoy the animation though, Thank you! :D! :D

Jefe and the Sniper

Sheriff Bot confronts the most dangerous outlaw in the Robo West!

Sheriff Bot confronts One Eye, the most dangerous outlaw in the robo west. This was my final piece entry into the TOFA 2010 flash tourny which i eventually won. Though not as good as "Bear Bear" (to me and a few others) it still holds its own for 18 days work. Big thanks to my Voice actors, Skark and Tomamoto for helping out on my entries for the past 3 months. It's been a blast working with you guys~ *Edit* Front page and daily first~ Thanks for the continuing support Newgrounds!

A Robo Western

Cripple Kane confronts the corrupt sheriff 'Blind-eye Bill' in an epic western showdown.

"Cripple Kane confronts the corrupt sheriff 'Blind-eye Bill' in an epic western showdown." WATCH THE COOL CREDIT SEQUENCE AT THE END! So. I started this in late April/early May of 2008. It all started when 'Decade Studios' Perry, a Newgrounds user friend of mine, sent me a song and said "This song reminded me of you". That Song was "A Gringo Like Me". Instantly I started animating the very beginning of this video, just as a fun little project. This fun little project expanded and expanded to turn into the ambitious monster that this movie is. All these ideas for the video came to mind. Make some sort of ultimate western extravaganza. Only problem is, I had always had trouble animating horses. That's what put this project on hold for so long. But thanks to ZekeySpaceyLizard, he jumped in and helped me with some horse legs on a front shot movieclip. That was basically the wall breaker and I wasn't stuck anymore. Basically yesterday i sat down and animated essentially the second half of this movie. determined to finish this once and for all... It was hell... and by God am I thrilled to say it's complete. Stylistically what I had in mind for this when I was animating was to try and give a western movie the old 1960's-1970's kung fu style of cinematography. with Westerns usually having a slow and tense pace. I decided to try and give it that in your face, zany sort of action. Well. I don't care, it's done. I just gave birth to an overweight baby. Dim the light, I hope you enjoy.-HVH Special Thanks to Perry, he's the one who showed me the song and started it all. And Kevin Barrios (Buzzwerd) for bitching at me to finish this thing and tolerating me sending him every frame of updates.

The Ballad of CrippleKane

An epic tale about a man who makes a deal with a Demon.

(** If you have trouble hearing the voices, turn the subtitles on in the main menu. The Demon's voice may sound a bit muffled. I like it though :) **) I'm very proud to bring to you Outlaw Part 1. After countless hours of development, it's finally complete. It is over eight minutes from start finish, with a full set of extras. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. I documented the process as much as possible in the hopes that it might inspire other animators and give them a place to start. Extras include: Story Board
Animation Process
Concept Art
Hand Drawing Tutorial **also, forgot to mention - there's an easter-egg in the movie. Apparently no one has found it. I'll give a hint. It's in the saloon.** **Ok, the easter egg is in the scene where the door opens as the mexican is gathering money. It's the plaque behind him. You have to pause the movie there manually though. Guess that was too hard fore everyone.** So sit back and enjoy the tale of Brooks. For more information, check my user page. Oh, and leave reviews. I made this for you, the viewer, so let me know what you think. I won't respond to them all, but if the review is well thought out, and more than "it was good", there's a strong possibility I will. (Side Note: If you Roll Over the top right of the movie, there is a Quality Button. This movie is very graphically intense, so you may want to try it on Medium. Also, this movie is best viewed without subtitles, but they're there just in case)

Outlaw pt.1

EDIT (2)- Thanks for the frontpage Newgrounds! And hooray!! Christmas collection!
Happy assorted holidays! This is a final wrapping up of the SpermRider concept, and a sort of epilogue to my first year online. I'd like to thank Tom, NewGrounds, and all the faithful viewers who supported me so much during this endeavor. Here's looking forward to next year and a whole lot of new cartoons! ©2007 Grey Gerling.
