PEDRO HERMANO

AAF presents a world of 'vintage' animated short films!

A new animated intro for the Animated AF Vintage Collection! Using music from the Sega Vintage Collection (and animated loosely in the style of the intros to the PS3/Xbox 360 series of releases), featuring a bunch of old characters such as Lucy Lolly, the Labbox, Cyril the goldfish monster, Mia from Manga-Gaga and Rocket No.9! A few of these films are still here on Newgrounds on my old account! The full video features over 30 minutes of my short films from 2004-2013 all remastered in 4K to the best of my ability! Check it out below!

Animated AF Vintage Collection Intro

Music by Armin Jusuframić, performed 2025, https://arminjmusic.com/Thank you so much for this fantastic dark ambient reinterpretation! The original version of this comic-animatic was drafted around 2010. Dead Space was the game that motivated me to buy my first proper gaming computer back in the 2010s.Back then, during a gaming party with some friends, one of them introduced us to Dead Space which he played in his Xbox 360. I was Blown away. I was unaware of the advancements in horror gaming and loved the immersive environment and creature designs. So I started saving for both a custom gaming computer from a small PC building business(a Rig which would also serve me for art and design) and a physical copy at an Office Depot (I didn't know of Steam until the sequel came out). While I was setting apart the money to buy my gaming rig, thanks to the immense hype and anticipation I started drawing the original version of this comic. This scenario was drawn thanks to the lore that my friend who owned the game at the time, told us while he was playing, and I also listened to the lullaby posted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpYz4EQVo1w&list=RDbpYz4EQVo1w&start_radio=1, Something to note is that, prior to drafting the original version I didn't see the marketing trailer, I didn't watch other gameplays or youtube videos, I didn't check the Wikia, and the character references for drawing were scarce on the internet. As you see that version was left incomplete. I was lacking some art skills, and the figures and books from the game were not very available in my country until much, much later. I got my PC and my game and forgot about it for a long while. I picked up this fan art piece, after many years as it was a fun exercise in graphic narrative, and now I learned a bit of extra skills to properly finish comics. For the storytelling, I took inspiration from the Lullaby and used the lyrics as symbolisms to narrate the sequence within these pages. This is the tought process and break-down of the panels you see: Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star (glowing eyes)How I wonder what you are (a lifeform, a necromorph)Up above the world so high (necromorph falls from the ceiling)Like a diamond in the sky (Necromorph's glowing eye+ The Miner looking up)When the blazing sun is gone, (Sun=Miner's life)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Miner's death)Then you show your little light (Little light=Infector's Proboscis, sign of reincarnation/life, tunnel of light while dying or near death)Twinkle, twinkle, all the night. (All the night=Time Passing, transformation ongoing, preparing to return to life as a new form) Then the traveler in the dark, (Isaac)Thanks you for your little spark, (living monster=uncleared area )He could not see which way to go, (path unexplored, exit level is near)If you did not twinkle so. (if Isaac didn't find a living Necromorph) When the blazing sun is gone, (Marker blocks sunlight)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Marker is the source of the nightmare)Though I know not what you are, (the necromorph looming behind)Twinkle, twinkle, little star. (necromorph glowing eyes, little star= a lifeform) I haven't checked newest sources or lore expansion to see if what I "saw" in the lyrics was accurate to the story's representation XD. But still, wanted to finish this. Thanks so much for watching! I hope to get/play the reboot and buy its artbook soon!

Jokes:This animation is one of several animations that center around the video "im here to see doom" by 3pac shakir. The animation is an edit of Davytoons video "Meet the spy mousey (tf2 parody)", which uses the advertised track, with several jokes added in:

Mousey's introductory shot is edited to match the beginning of "im here to see doom", complete with the same audio. In addition, Mousey is edited to say "GentGentleMentleMen" and pitch-shifted to the music, referencing the YTPMV "GentleMentleMen" by Maplemaniac.

Various words and phrases are dubbed over with the "MF Doom" voice sample.

The "Your mother!" shot is looped back and forth a bit.

The clip of the Team Fortress 2 theme at the end has its melody partially changed to "Rapp Snitch Knishes" by MF Doom, the song from "im here to see doom". Stab sounds and Dave (Soldier) and Fireboi (Heavy) voice clips are also added to make it sound like the original ending of "Meet the spy mousey (tf2 parody)".

Meet The Spy Mousey (PS3 Version)

a animation that i did to show the feeling that oldschool 00's survival horrors game me.

Provoke's birthday!

A man wanders through a nightmare orgy world where he is stalked by a female demon

I tried to get this out before Halloween, but the Hurricane knocked the power out for a few days, so pretend it's a few days ago and go to digital hell! FOLLOW UP: By reading a lot of comments a lot of you seem to bring up the same few points, so rather then respond one by one I'm just going to put this up. "There's no story and/or it's confusing" - There's a story, though it's technically a "back story". I wrote how the characters ended up in the place they are but didn't put it any where in the short. The purpose of the film was to simulate a hellish dimension or a really intense panic attack. The main character enters this place not knowing who he is or how he got there and is acting on feelings/instincts alone. He wanders from scenario to scenario clueless and terrified which, hopefully, makes the viewer confused and scared as well. Like if I'm trying to get you to see through the eyes of the character instead just follow his story. To do that I wanted the viewer to only have as much information as the man with no memory. My point being that I wasn't telling to tell a detailed narrative story, I wanted to take the viewer on a roller coaster ride of panic and terror! "The animation is bad and/or the hair physics suck" I know, but I animated the entire short by myself using home computers and a hacked xbox 360 kinect. I never went to animation school and I don't have a team of animators. I am in the middle of making a feature film and took a break for a month to try and make a halloween special for the internet. This short is what I can accomplish on my own without any help or money in 30-40 days time. "the sound is really noisey and/or loud" - I wanted to use a soundtrack of only noise to heighten that sense of dread and terror. I admittedly only listened to it on my home speakers, which include a subwoofer, etc. I never tested it in headphones or regular computer speakers, so my mistake if it sounds way out of sorts on some home speakers. If i ever decide to release it on DVD I might pay to get it remastered first. Voices By: Emily Youcis

Disturbing music video for Butchers Harem

I needed something to do while waiting for my film "Where The Dead Go To Die" to be released. I decided I wanted to do something short but I didn't feel like writing a script and finding actors and all that non-sense. I decided instead to do a music video for one of my all time favorite fucked up groups "Butchers Harem". I contacted MC Bushpig (AKA Passenger of Shit) & MC Cumblood and decided to do it! I used Cinema 4D R13 with the Interposer plugin to animate and render the movie. I used a mixture of stock motion capture and motions I captured myself using a Xbox 360 Kinect (thanks to Emily Youcis and Victor Bonacore for being my motion capture performers) with IPI Studio for capturing and DAZ Studio to edit the final motions before exporting them to C4D. Through out October & November 2011 I mainly came up with concepts, built digital sets and setup the character models. During Late December and January 2012 I did the bulk of the animation. After the animation was done I did all the post coloring and fx in Adobe After Effects and edited with Adobe Premiere. Minecraft is announced for the Xbox 360! But not everyone is happy about it...

I made this in a day to try and get something up on my birthday! I hope you enjoy it. Minecraft is pretty popular at the moment and almost everywhere. With the announcement of it on the Xbox 360, there was those who were very happy about it, the PC zealots who don't want anyone else to enjoy it, and no doubt some very sad indie developers. Fortresscraft came out and got some amazing initial sales, hopefully they will still continue to do well.

I animated this, and my buddy Derek did the (awesome) voice work as Chuck. I hope you like chuck. I'm still learning flash, so please excuse any incorrect uses of frame-by-frame or tweening, jerks. Just saying it in adance. Love you :D EDIT: Front freaking page?! I am freaking out. Thank you, good sirs! Thanks for all of the great reviews, it's great to see how well people took this effort in, it made my weekend! My week ends on Tuesday ;) I was kind of hoping to see this on NG's Video Game Parodies section, so I recommended it. If you agree, please take to time to do the same and immortalize it (Fingers Crossed). Thanks!
