Use rating:s when:

The context is strictly comedic, accidental, or situational.
There is no erotic or fetishistic focus.

Use rating:q when:

The context is fetishistic or erotic, even if it is not graphic.
There are no sexual acts (oral sex, anal sex, rimming, etc.).
Even if the character's face or body is located within the buttcrack, this does not by itself mean that there is direct contact with the anus or that a sexual activity such as rimming is occurring.

Use rating:e when:

Situations in which buttcrush can occur

buttcrush can occur in several ways, including when a character or object is positioned in the buttcrack and becomes compressed between_cheeks by another character, or between_butts between the butts of two or more characters.
buttcrush often involves size_difference, with a larger character sitting on and pinning a smaller one. These differences may be more dramatic when extreme_size_difference is involved, including macro or micro sized characters.

During facesitting, reverse_facesitting, or stinkface, buttcrush may also occur when the butt exerts enough pressure to trap and compress the other character.

Butt Slam

A butt slam is an intentional physical strike using the buttocks to hit another - this may be done by the attacker thrusting backwards, hip checking, or dropping butt first onto their target. A butt slam often leads into the target character being crushed under their attacker's butt or between the butt and a wall. Cracks or even a crater may be shown to imply an exaggerated amount of force from the butt striking the ground or walls.

Butt Smother

Butt smothering involves a character having their face covered by another's butt. Most of, or their entire head, might be buried between the butt cheeks of the character smothering them. A character can be smothered and crushed under a butt at the same time. If a character is being sat on, but their head is not being pushed into the buttocks or between the buttocks, use butt crush instead of butt smother.

Facesitting

Facesitting, unlike smothering, slamming, or crushing, doesn't involve any implied harm or discomfort from the character being sat on, and the character is able to breathe. A character being facesat usually performs rimming, cunnilingus, ball licking or fellatio on the character sitting on them.

Buttcrush may involve the visibility of the buttcrack, particularly when the buttocks are separated during the crushing action. The buttcrack tag should only be applied when the buttcrack is actually visible.
