Description

The hero of the role-playing video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Since this character is player-created, it can be male or female, as well as any number of races and appearances. However, the character is most commonly depicted as a white-skinned, blue-eyed, blond-haired human (Nord) male.

Even more often, this character is portrayed wearing a very distinctive iron helmet with curled horns.

The character is often called Dragonborn, although here that tag is reserved for the Dungeons & Dragons race. “Dovahkiin” is the word “Dragonborn” in Elder Scrolls’ Dragon Language.
