Description

[color=tomato]Explicit Tag[/color]
[sup]See Help: Ratings for more info.[/sup]
Umbrella tag for any post that features foreskin. Tag posts with retracted_foreskin, partially_retracted_foreskin, or unretracted_foreskin as appropriate.
[section,expanded=Humanoid]Foreskin (also known as prepuce) is a loose fold of skin that covers the glans of a penis; it is a continuation of loose skin that covers the entire penis and scrotum (which is part of the balls).[/section]
[section,expanded=Non-Humanoid]The foreskin tag is usually used for humanoid penises. It is not to be confused with the tag sheath used for animal_genitalia. For foreskins found on non-humanoid penises, consider the hybrid_penis tag.[/section]
[section,expanded=Circumcision]When a penis had its foreskin removed, it is considered circumcised and may have a circumcision_scar.[/section]
[section,expanded=Frenulum]In more detailed artwork, the frenulum connecting the foreskin to the underside of the glans may be visible. A frenulum may still be present if the penis lacks foreskin.[/section]
Foreskin should only be tagged if it is clearly visible. In cases where it is difficult to tell whether the penis lacks a foreskin or does have it, tag neither foreskin nor any of its subtags. Don't tag circumcised unless there's enough detail to tell that the foreskin has been removed.
