Description
The Infantry Fighting Vehicle is a class of armored vehicle designed to carry infantry into battle.
IFVs have the following characteristics:
- Ground based vehicle (can be wheeled or tracked)
- Armed with at least a medium-caliber cannon or automatic grenade launcher
- Armor is sufficient enough to protect against small arms fire
- Off-road capable
