Description

A species of bipedal catfish (which the word "namazu" directly translates to) featured in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood and later expansions. They are native to Othard, a region in the Far East. Namazu names generally start with "gyo", which is used as the pronunciation for 魚 (fish) in several Japanese compound words.
