Any depicted Pokémon character that has an "alternate" color consistent with the games' "shiny" coloration (such as a red Gyarados, a blue Gardevoir, or an orange Pikachu).

Just having a different color from a standard Pokémon of the species (for example, an Umbreon with purple rings) doesn't qualify it for this tag unless the color is consistent with an actual shiny Pokémon. Use the alternate color tag for non-canon colors, but not for canon shiny colors.
