Description

Tidus is the protagonist of Final Fantasy X. He is a pale-skinned human with short blonde hair, though he may be subject to furrification in fanart hosted here. He wears asymmetrical clothing: pants that are full-length on his right leg while shorts-length on his left, and a gauntlet and shoulder pad only on his left arm. He also wears a zipper jacket with a flared collar, but leaves it open to expose his bare chest.

Tidus is a star player of blitzball (a fantasy sport combining swimming and basketball) who is transported to Spira from the city of Zanarkand after an attack by Sin, where he becomes one of Yuna's guardians and falls in love with her.

spoiler

Tidus is later revealed to be an imaginary construct created by the spirits of Zanarkand, though he appears to be a flesh-and-blood human for all intents and purposes.

In battle, Tidus fights with a sword and supports his allies with time-manipulation magic.
