Description
Aerith Gainsborough is a playable character in Final Fantasy VII. She is a human with pale skin and long brown hair, but may be subject to furrification in fanart hosted here. She is a descendant of the Cetra, and ancient race with special powers; this makes her a target of the Shinra Corporation, who want to exploit the Cetra's power for their own gain. She is a potential love interest of the protagonist, Cloud Strife.
Aerith fights with a staff. Unlike other characters, her limit breaks consist of healing and support magic rather than attacks. Like all playable characters in Final Fantasy VII, she is potentially a magic user through the use of materia.
