After what feels like hours, you stumble through an ornately carved gateway into what looks like an open arena. Something pads from the shadowy den across the broken paving stones, and you find yourself face to face with an awe-inspiring amalgamation said to be the protector of treasures untold.
The light of the high noon sun flashes off of ornaments entwined in his flowing mane, and glints off of the burnished scales of his serpentine tail. Bathed in light, you see the features of lion, snake and goat encompassed in a single creature: Apollo, a mighty Chimera of legend.
