Description
Aran Polecki is a minor character in Kyell Gold's Out of Position novel series. He, a Coyote, plays for the fictional UFL Crystal City Sabretooths American football team as middle linebacker #55. As a closeted homosexual, he enters a surreptitious relationship with another gay player, Jay Cornwall, a running back for the Yerba Whalers, but chooses to come out as the second ever openly gay football player after winning the Superbowl. His opponent (and the first openly gay football player) Devlin Miski and him form a bond over their uniqueness in the league, though Jay prefers to remain closeted. Together, they form the UFL Gay Alliance.
