Description
Yuuki Asuna, Yūki Asuna, Asuna, 結城明日奈
Character from the mixed media series Sword Art Online. Asuna is the partner of Kirito Kirigaya (the protagonist) and his eventual love interest.
Asuna is soft spoken and reserved, tending to not show her feelings outwardly. Over time her adventures with Kirito bud into a romance ending in an in-game marriage. When the Sword Art Online game is finally defeated by Kiriot, Asuna is trapped within the game by a devious ploy. Kirito enters the successor game, ALfheim in order to recover the mind of Asuna's body which has been trapped in an avatar known as Titania, Queen of the Fairies.
In SAO Asuna used a rapier as her weapon, relying on many quick strikes to bring a foe down. When her character transferred to ALfheim she was forced into an Undine body and took on the role of a healer, later evolving the class to a "Berserk Healer" - because of her penchant for entering battle with her rapier despite her role as a support healer. Later she created a second account, a character she dubbed Erika, who was a Sylph and specialized in fast dagger attacks. This class was far better suited for occasional duels.
