A fictional race from the Final Fantasy series first introduced in the expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward .

Appearance

Au Ra believe they are descended of dragons and they exhibit scales, horns, and a tail as characteristics of their draconic heritage. Male Au Ra tend to be much larger than their female counterparts (another trait that is similar to their dragon descendants).
