Description
This tag is used when the events happening in a work represent the worst possible outcome for the characters depicted in it. Often, this takes the form of an alternate ending where the villain of a story achieves their goals, or defeats/kills the hero. As a result, the content of these works is very often dark.
Game Over is a more specific kind of bad end, when the bad end is framed as a game mechanic.
