Description
Posts using materials from unfinished Pokémon games, generally obtained either from early ROMs (a la the Pokémon Gold and Silver Spaceworld '97 demo) or from internal leaks.
In practice, almost all examples of this tag will be depicting beta Pokémon species, though some non-Pokémon elements such as unused trainer designs, locations, and setting details are known to exist.
This tag should not be confused with fakemon. While both may feature Pokémon that do not exist in released games, beta Pokémon originate from official pre-release builds or development materials, whereas fakemon are original fan creations.
