Description
A bookshelf, or bookcase, is a piece of furniture with horizontal shelves, used to store books. However, other items may also be stored on a bookshelf (usually in addition to books), such as electronics, magazines, decorations, potted plants, or photo frames.
Bookshelves can be seen in private homes, libraries, offices and bookstores. In rooms entirely devoted to the storage of books they may be permanently fixed to the walls and/or floor.
