Description
A bunny costume is an outfit originally popularized by the female staff in Playboy clubs ("Playboy Bunnies"), this influence is seen with many depictions of characters in bunny costumes holding trays or acting as waitresses.

The costume's design can vary wildly, omitting or altering elements of the costume. Bunny costumes are often changed to be more revealing — a navel cutout and/or cleavage cutout, more cleavage, a plunging neckline etc.
- Bunny ears may be substituted for other animal ears, horns, or omitted entirely (especially when worn by anthro rabbit or rabbit humanoid characters)
- The collar may instead have a necktie worn with it, or be entirely replaced with a bow, choker, or other collar
- The leotard/teddy/swimsuit may be switched for a corset-like top that reveals the wearer's midriff, usually worn with a thong or panties
- Elbow gloves or white gloves may be worn with, or instead of, the shirt cuffs
- May include stockings, garter belt and garter straps
