Description
A bunting is a form of banner that often takes the form of a pleated fan shape, or more commonly a collection of flags or banners strung up onto a rope. These banners will almost always be used as a form of decoration, but historically buntings were used on ships as a way of signaling information to other ships. The shape, and design of the bunting had a specific meaning.
