Description
The entirety of the dog family, Canidae. This tag includes the familiar canine subfamily as well as the other two subfamilies of canid: Borophaginae (bone-crushing dogs) and Hesperocyoninae (basal canids). "Canine" refers only to the subfamily of Caninae, "canid" being the correct term to refer to the entire Canidae family. Use `canid` when searching for all members of the family.
