Description

A charity is a donation drive where donors can give money or other things of value towards a noble cause. Not all fund-raising events can be referred to as a charity, the purpose of the even matters.

As a tag, this distinguishes between donations that go towards a charitable cause versus those donated to an individual for personal benefit. This may be difficult to determine via TWYS, but a good rule of thumb is that if the donation happens outside of a streaming environment, barring additional contextual indicators, it is assumed that the donation is charitable and this tag shall apply.
