Description

{{Circumcision}} is a "general tag" that is applied to the removal of prepucial tissue of any kind but most commonly is used to refer to
depictions of the removal of the foreskin from a penis, which will often be humanoid in structure. In the most common procedure, the {{foreskin}} is opened, adhesion are removed, and the foreskin is separated from the glans. It is then severed completely, hence the name, "Round, Cutting".
It may also be used in reference to the removal of female prepucial folds, such as those of the clitoral hood or {{Labia_Minora}} and is a widespread form of Female Genital Mutilation.
Officially does not refer to {{clitoridectomy}}, but it has come to mean as such as well in common parlance. So Female_Genital_Mutilation also exists under this tag.
