Description
A desert is an area which receives extremely low rainfall, and which has in consequence few leafy plants. Deserts are often home to cacti and small drought-tolerant shrubs. Some common desert animals are snakes, lizards and coyotes. Not to be confused with the (usually) less-hostile dessert.
