Description
The Family Guy death pose is a specific pose where a character is lying down, facing away from the viewer, with one leg draped over the lower, and arms behind the torso. It can be assumed that the character in focus is either unconscious or dead due to their form looking limp.
The pose is prominent in the cartoon Family Guy, as the animators will re-use assets already created to save time and resources. The repetition of the pose throughout the series has led to it becoming a running joke and meme, adding a second layer of humor in addition to the humor in context of the scene.
