Description

The Futakuchi-onna (lit. "two-mouthed woman") is a type of yokai in Japanese folklore.

Rather than a monster, the Futakuchi-onna is an otherwise normal human woman afflicted by a curse that causes a second entirely functional mouth to appear on the back of her head beneath the hair.

The second mouth has a mind of its own, hostile to its host as it demands food, much like a parasite. Eventually, the entity of the mouth will take control of the hair of its host, using them like tendrils, allowing the mouth to help itself to the woman's meals.
