A Gear is a common machine part. Similar to the wheel, the gear is designed to rotate in response to torque or rotational force. Unlike, the wheel however, gears are designed to interlock with other gears and machine parts, allowing it to transfer or receive rotational force/torque, potentially cascading it through multiple gears to create complex rhythmic rotating motions throughout a machine.
