Description
The Gravity Suit is an upgrade to the Power Suit worn by Samus Aran in the Metroid series. A further upgrade to the Varia Suit, this suit is most commonly depicted as a recolor of the Varia Suit (Samus Returns and Dread being notable outliers, instead having unique designs), changing the suit's orange coloring to purple or blue (depending on the game) and the body lights and visor from green to blue.
On top of further increasing the Power Suit's defenses and insulating from extreme heat, this upgrade insulates the wearer from liquid hazards such as lava and also negates any abnormal gravity conditions on the wearer, allowing the wearer to move around in liquid environments completely unhindered by drag.
