Description
Hades is a 2020 roguelike action role-playing game developed and published by Supergiant Games. Taking place in the world of Greek mythology, it follows Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape the Underworld to contact his long-lost mother, Persephone. Hades II, a sequel following Zagreus' sister Melinoë, was released in 2025.
The game is popular among the furry fandom for the following reasons:
- The Minotaur is portrayed as an intelligent and extremely hunky bull anthro. He also has a close relationship with the hero Theseus, which many fans interpret as romantic.
- The Medusa is depicted as a floating head with a cute, sweet personality, and is a potential love interest.
- The three Furies are depicted as demons with membranous wings and technicolor skin, and their personalities play into femdom kinks.
