Description
A consumption of a character's body part and/or corpse by another character, typically by tearing and chewing. Gore is a common theme.
It contrasts with soft vore, which involves the character being swallowed whole and alive rather than any injuries from biting or chewing.
Important Note: While most, if not all depictions of Hard Vore are also inherently Oral Vore, it's uncommon to have both tags on a single image. Some examples of exceptions to this general rule would be if a prey character is swallowed after being chewed "in one piece" by a much larger predator character, or if the prey character is swallowed whole after sustaining an injury from being bitten or having pieces torn off of them and eaten.
