Description

Kit, formerly known as just the Mozilla Firefox, or just the Firefox (not to be confused with either the Mozilla Brand or their Internet Browser of the same name) is often pictured as a fox with flame-like attributes.

In November 2025, Mozilla announced that they were "refreshing their brand", and that involved giving a name to their previously unofficial, now official mascot.

Canonically, Kit has no mouth, and is a Firefox, not a red panda or fox[sup]"1":[https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/meet-kit][/sup]
