Description

A species of vesper bat found in the mountains and arid regions of western America ranging from Canada to Mexico, characterized by their pale brown fur (sometimes interpreted as pale grey), large ears, a diet of scorpions, and an immunity to scorpion venom.

Not to be confused with the desert long-eared bat, though the two are superficially similar.
