Description

The pit bull has become a collective name for the dog breeds of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the American Bully. Between these, they share traits of having very short fur, a mid-sized frame, a muscular body, a ridge down the top of the head, shrivels on the forehead, a boxy snout, short to medium flews, round eyes with visible irises, and ears being either half pricked, rose eared, button eared, or cropped.

It is sometimes confused with Bull Terriers, Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentinos, English Bulldogs, and Boxers, so remember to tag accordingly.
